👨‍👩‍👦ABOUT ME:
Borahae! I am a singer/songwriter/producer that rediscovered my passion for music during the pandemic after hearing BTS. A wild musical journey ensued that reunited 2 childhood friends (me & Lucas). Along the way, we built a music studio and now we travel the world to showcase both known and hidden talents that deserve more recognition.
What to expect here? An immersive musical journey full of:
1.) Reactions (sort of) - We broke the OLD format! No FAKE, no substance reactions. Our Podcast style reactions are short musical adventures breaking down the music to teach about elements that make your favorite songs great. Plus wild stories along the way!
2.) Original music from us.
3.) Exclusive interviews & performances from your favorite artists & hidden gems.
4.) Music podcast for everything we can't cover in a short video
💜You Nice! Keep Going!💜

The lady they focus on at the end of the song, with the black and white jacket, is his mother. Being an opera singer herself I just can imagine how proud she is of Dimash.

@@mylesastinnette6208 . Sveta is a Soprano not an Opera Singer. Many people confuse the terms. While there many types of voices including Soprano that perform Operas, Not all of these voices perform Operas. To explain: Opera is a form of theatre with music as a fundamental component & dramatic roles are taken by singers. Opera incorporates many performing arts, such as acting, scenery, costume, and sometimes dance or ballet. In simple terms an Opera is a stage play with the performers Singing the dialogue along with their acting.

The feeling, when he sits down to sing during a concert, is one of intimacy, as if he is saying, "Let me sing just to you". If you ever get to hear/see him live, definitely take that opportunity. I was at his concert in NY in 2019, and other than being in complete shock because he really is this perfect singer and the best in the world, the whole concert was stunning.

This beautiful and unique voice, which we admire so much, is paid for by His very hard work, thousands of hours of practice that we can't even imagine. It's his constant striving for perfectionism, and he's only human... I will quote the words of #Dimash that stuck in my head: "Many people mistakenly think that singing is a very easy field. On the other hand, it's not easier than math, but maybe even harder. So there are a lot of factors to create something noteworthy - that's knowledge, of course!👍👏 If a man has a special taste and a unique musical culture, he will create powerful things."

  • @Watchamacallit000
    @Watchamacallit0002 жыл бұрын

You'll notice as you see more performances that he often bends over when he sings. When he sings a powerful mix he often turns his head to the side. When he stretches his arm out and basically thows his chest and head sideways....watch out because some seriously powerful, usually F#5, is going to hit you between the eyes.

This is one of my favorites. To me, it's hypnotic, meditative, euphoric, primal, and incredibly sensual. I love the layers and the way it gently builds as it progresses. If I ever want to escape day to day life for a few minutes, this is my go to. I've always loved eastern influences in music, (Led Zeppelin and Jeff Buckley used them a lot), so this is like heaven to me. Loved the reaction. I never noticed the falling out of key thing before. Another new thing I've learned from getting a producer's perspective, which I really enjoy and appreciate. P.S. Lucas cracks me up. 😁 😊

In a video of Dimash, he once said,"If you cut my brain open you will only see music and if you cut my heart open it will bleed music, and if you cut my soul open music will pour out. Dimash and his mother were on a tv show in Kazachstan' where she showed a picture Dimash drew when he was very little. It was a stage and lights and a straw figure singing with notes trailing across the paper. She said Dimash said, "that is me when I grow up".

Great insight guys. This is the gift of Dimash to his fans. We don't know how he is doing it, but it's amazing. I'm thankful I discovered him. There is no other artist out there like him. Dimash's bag of tricks is so vast that we are always left astonished. I hope you will continue to do more Dimash reactions with your Producer as I am looking forward to it. Have you done Ave Maria yet? This is not the Schubert version, but one that Igor Krutoy wrote specifically at Dimash's request.

Dear friends, thank you for your reaction. I've watched this video a hundred times. And a hundred times Dimash hypnotizes me. It seems to me that Dimash hypnotizes all the spectators in the hall. There is such silence that you can hear the pin falling. Dimash hypnotizes his musicians too. Look at them carefully. All this magic is simply not possible to explain. Notice how Dimash works with the microphone. Notice the waterfall and the wandering lanterns like big stars. All this together with the voice of Dimash drives you crazy.

I think you are referring to Erlan. He is Dimash's friend who does the arrangements and sound. Dimash often refers to him as his best friend who is like a brother. The lovely backing vocalist Jordan is married to Erlan. Mr Piano man (I don't know his name sorry) has been in his band for quite a while now. I think since the Arnau tours began but I might be wrong.

I know the pianist is a long term thing, but I don't know how much he helps with the mixing. I do know that Yerlan Bekchurin (his permanent sound producer--he is not the pianist here) is very involved in arrangements and the final product--he deserves a real shout-out too.

I saw him at his NYC concert. It was the best concert I have ever been to in my life, and I've been to quite a few. Not only was Dimash, of course, amazing, but there was just a wave of energy and love throughout the whole arena. I seriously had a sense of loss for about 4-5 days afterwards. It was the most bizarre feeling I've ever had.

I read a review where some moron said the New York concert was very disorganised, started really late, and so bad for sound she hated it and claimed that lots of people walked out before it finished. Thousands said it’s the best concert they have ever been to but she said it was one of the worse she has been to. I think she must be a “hater” and just wanted to leave a bad review and probably never even went to it. No one expects “live” music to be as perfect as on the video, it’s usually always louder than the singer, but it’s in a big stadium, that’s what happens. But not one other person complained except her.

You talked about his concerts, it's just another kind of experience. Seriously, I remember reading comments about people all saying how his voice was even more beautiful and at least 3 times more powerful when you hear it live and still I wasn't ready for my first concert of Dimash, or my second x) I was in the audience for the very first performance of this song (not the one you watched) in Moscow, and I can't describe it, it was just magical. If you have the occasion to see him in concert one day, go for it, you won't regret it.

He is just that good 😊 20+ years of study and training and he continues to study. Dimash does not limit himself to one genre. Opera, jazz, R&B, pop and rock. He does it all and he does them well. Quoting Dimash " I am a music lover by nature and I don't want to miss the opportunity to experiment".... Dimash is involved in every aspect of his concerts and performances - collaboration, production, and musical arrangement. Every thing is purposeful and he's only 27. Genius. I love watching your reactions and hearing your insights into this incredible artist, thank you and keep them Coming. ❤️from Australia 🇦🇺

Lucas, you had a question if Dimash actually enjoys being so engaged. Well, Dimash started dreaming of being a singer since... he could dream. His first drawing ever was of a recording studio, as he understood it later. There is a documentary about it. Dimash lives in music. In my opinion, he is the music. He has been listening to it before he was born, since his mother is a very talented classical singer. Dimash does not brag it, he is down earth, likes reading philosophical books and understands very well how temporary everything is in this world. His own words.
