Stay is one of my favorites from Angelina. I always liked the song anyway, but the way she sings it (at just 12 years old) is so smooth and beautiful. She stretches out the endings of her words and puts just the perfect touches of vibrato on them. You mentioned how relaxed she looks.... I think one of the biggest things that make Angelina so engaging is that natural, effortless way she sings. It's not like she's trying to impress anyone. She's just singing it like she feels it... and she does it so perfectly that we feel it too.

Thumbs up you two! Angelina doesn't have a genre, a niche, or a lane, she owns the road.

Angelina signed with Republic Records last fall. The owner of Republic Records personally took over the negotiations and worked with Angelina’s family to get a mutually agreeable contract done. Angelina’s family stipulated that in order for Republic Records to sign her they wanted Angelina to finish her schooling and to live as normal a life as she could before she is unleashed onto the world stage. I applaud Angelina’s wonderful family and Republic Records for recognizing that Angelina is a special gift to the world from God and that when her time comes she is going to explode onto the scene like a super nova. This exceptionally unique and supremely gifted young lady is going to shake up and change the music industry. Angelina has her own separate lane that only she can travel on. There is no other like her.

12 years old, reading the lyrics, recorded in a single (and probably only) take. And as you say, it sounds like it's "her song." Now THAT'S talent.

One of my favorites. With just that acoustic guitar, we hear Angelina’s voice full-throttle. This is one of the many songs where you understand right away that Angelina has killed this song for anyone else.

Good to see you guys. Floors me is that, in his interview, guitarist Ivan confirmed that for these sessions they do no preparation, they get together, talk about songs they might both know, look up the lyrics and chords online, and record in one or two takes. Guitarist Egil in Norway confirmed the same. That is just an astounding process to produce this level of excellence, something professional singers would spend long times in rehearsal and studio to even approach.

Yes, she is already great and has been ever since NGT, but remenber she is still only 15. Chill like Angelina; she has all the time in the world to become whatever she wants, and she will.

Exactly. I can’t be doing with all this “I want the world to know her now”..she simply isn’t old enough to handle the pressure nor should she put in that position by anyone..

You asked in one of your prior videos if Angelina made anyone else emotional and the answer is an unapologetic yes! I'm a 55 year old man who grew up loving music of all genres with an enthusiastic appreciation for vocalists who can bring out emotions. I really thought I had heard the best until I heard this young phenom's voice. I understand now that the frequency at which my soul resides had never been reached until that moment. I've tried for years to figure out the why and the how of the effect she has on me with her voice but have since given up that impossible quest. I still love music, it's just that now I have heard what music was meant to be. Thank you both for setting out on this trip and inviting so many of us to relive our many firsts with this beautiful human.

Her family protects her father her mother or grandmother her grandfather was with her but she passed away and she sings this song about that million miles they were very close but she had a protective family

Shes a well bought up girl and has a very careing nature, she has raised millions for charity, including her NGT winnings ( $60,000 }, but does it quietly, she lives in LA now and has been seen taking food to the homeless. And then she sings!!! Shes probably the closest thing to an Angel that i`ll ever see,

She has the heavens full of godmothers and godfathers of music.

she goes where the lyrics take her...changing her tone and momentum to suit the meaning and feeling. she taps into the emotion and does not focus on the technical side, rather her technical side follows her feelings. Her empathy is incredible. that's where her genius lies.

Another one of Angelina's masterpieces. This is actually a jam session going on here, she tells Ivan to follow her & the rest is history. Look at his stank face as he hears this for the first time. He said the hardest thing about these performances is maintaining his concentration when he hears her sing next to him, he wants to just listen. One of the judges (Omar) on NGT, later became friends with Angelina & her family. Sometimes he would drive her to rehearsals & he said that sometimes she would burst into song while they were driving & he would literally have to pull over to listen. There are no words for that kind of talent.

You guys do reactions the way they should be done! You mentioned that Angelina makes things her own. She does it to the song, but part of the way she achieves it, is through changing her voice. Angelina is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices. If you listen to various songs you will notice that the style, tone, techniques, and more are changed to better represent the artist and song she is singing, while maintaining respect for the original. It is a unique gift that she possesses. You also spent time discussing Angelina's humble nature and the fact that she has a great support system in the way she grew up. You are right in all that but I don't know if anyone explained to you a very important part of her childhood. It is the reason she wears no shoes while performing. When Angelina was six, she was in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother. They came across a very young orphan girl sitting on the cold Street with bathroom scales weighing people for coins in order to make a living to support she and her siblings. Angelina felt badly and struck up a conversation and became friends with the girl. She always cared for children. She asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl said a doctor but she could not because she had to support her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina replied she wanted to be a superstar and sing for the whole world. The girl said she would pray for Angelina and because the orphan girl had cold scarred feet and no shoes, Angelina took the shoes off her own feet and gave them to the young girl to keep! She told the girl she would keep her in her heart forever and that she would never perform on the stage with shoes again until all children of the world had shoes. If this doesn't bring a tear to your eyes nothing will. Angelina is a gift from above not only for her singing, but for her compassion and empathy.

When her record label (Republic Records) , family and herself want it, they can just push the button. Many people forget that she is only 15 years old today because she is so mature for her age. She still goes to school. and I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her. She is so good anyway, so she can not be ignored. She delivers music that lasts, and not music that lasts for a few weeks as plastic hit. Angelina has over 500 Million Views on KZread and over 2 Billion Views on Facebook overall on her videos. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the Age of 8, and has been producing masterclass level vocals ever since. The only and regular marketing is done by the fans via KZread. She has another song where this guy on the guitar is playing..shes singing Always on my mind.. And its dedicated to her grandfather who just past away.. She olso have a song she wrote called millon miles away wich is for her grandfather... There are two versions of this with 3 video (i think) one where her grandmother drew/painted the pictures in the video and one live (but i cant remember the last one for some reason) the one where her grandmother painted the pictures are a beautiful video and always make my eyes sweat alittlebit. But her live version is something else. 14 years old and wrote this!? Its incredible! And people keep forgetting that this is not her first language. She speaks 3 different languages..! And thats pretty impressive. I speak 2 and csnt imagine leaning another one. Although im 35 but and they say it get harder to learn as you get older. Shes something else..

Guitarist Ivan Mendez created an atmospheric style in playing, that puts her to really bring out the best out of her soul. Look, how he feels it. They really were a great team (It was, when she lived in LA)

You wanna be blown away watch her first time in the studio when she was six years old singing (i who have nothing) she is so tiny with such a powerful voice.

If you look closely, you'll notice that she's reading the lyrics as she sings along. Ivan Mendes, the guitar player said that she invited him home, they would discuss which song she would sing, and it doesn't take her more than one or 2 takes to seal the song and finish the video. He himself sometimes doesn't even know the songs they were doing, but still manages to follow her lead. Crazy!

This is one of my favorites from her. She did "Always on My Mind" as a tribute to her grandfather very soon after he died. It is very emotional and she did the song justice and kept it together right up until almost the end. It is well worth viewing. Bring your tissues, though.

When other singers are trying to impress with their vocals, Angelina just lives her songs instead. She never needs to impress, but she does it anyway just by telling her story. Ivan Mendez, the talented guitarist, had an interview in which he told the story of how he was introduced to Angelina and her family. A friend of a friend introduction with sample videos sent to her family. Then a semi-formal meeting. He said she and her family made him feel as a part of the family. When they wanted to record, they would contact him and ask him if he could come over. Ivan would ask "What songs" and they would say "Just come on over, we'll figure it out". He would go over in the morning and he said would just hang out for half the day. Then, Angelina and he would just bounce around songs that they liked, knew or didn't know, would decide a song, maybe listen to it a couple of times and then just record. He may or may not know the song. Angelina told him she would take the lead and the miracles would begin. He stated that the toughest thing about these sessions were him staying concentrated on playing while listening to her Angelic voice. If it took more than one take, it was always his error as Angelina was always on point.

In a interview with M. Alan Papier, Ivan Mendez (the guitarist) told, that she was reading the lyrics from her computer screen, while singing. And they had to have up to 5 takes of a song. He laughed when he said, that she could do it in one take, but he was that fascinated with her singing, he forgot often to play the guitar as she wanted him to. He said that she was VERY patient with him. You will find the interviews of her guitarists on the Chanel of Alan Papier. Stay save and healthy, German greetings.

Thanks again for a nice reaction, Angelina likes that things are real. She does not hide behind auto-tune or cheating. Often she sings with just a guitar or piano. She can just as easily sit in the living room singing into a cell phone. She is completely raw, and what you hear is real, in contrast to many who "do sound make-up" for the recording, and before we hear it. In an interview with one of the guitarists she uses, he said that he did not show in advance what he was going to play, but that they sat for a while and "drooled" before she found a song she wanted to record. She is a musical prodigy. She arranges music. She writes music, and she also has produced music. According to her mother she’s been singing since she’s been one. Her favorite music is jazz and there is no actual genre. You can put her in. And she definitely makes any song her own. Angelina has been with Republic Records since last year and it would appear that they are letting her grow at her family's pace, which is wonderful from Republic's point of view because not many labels would allow that. Angelia has released two originals and Adele cover whilst being with Republic and there is more to come soon.
