As you know she started her Norway got talent at age 7... this was her first time in studio before that talent show... at age 6 ❤ Insane talent... but you know that 🤣👍❤

This is why we call her a child prodigy: A first grader, singing in English while reading the lyrics, landing her pitches almost perfectly, comfortably belting and with a beautiful vibrato, her sustained notes, and especially her timing (anticipating and back-phrasing perfectly) all so very natural. Many (most?) professional singers 30 years older than Angelina is in this video can't sing this better.

According to others who have followed her from the beginning, this was BEFORE she competed for Norway’s Got Talent. She was SIX! (and was reading English lyrics [I was just learning to read at that age😳]). I love this particular early practice clip because it shows how much Angelina absolutely LOVES music. She wasn’t “working hard” at perfecting her singing (as someone has suggested)... This was play for Angelina. And we all are richer for it. ♥️ Great reaction Asia and BJ!

I've been accompanying Angelina for two years. In this song she is 6 years old. I am impressed to this day with such a small child's body that he was able to have that powerful, tuned and resonant voice! I think that at this moment the old soul decided to reveal itself and overturn all parameters. It makes us think about spirituality.

Angelina has said that she believes that it is because the girl who she gave her shoes to when she was traveling in the middle east's praying for her that makes her singing touch so many people. Apparently she was traveling in the middle east before this was shoot

When she was 7 she said singing was like breathing to her. She has to do it. She was 6 here, the video was not released till later .

@@dalegarlow5344 This studio is at the school she was attending. She was traveling with her family at sometime during the year she was 6, and met the shoeless girl. She published a book about the experience, "Between Two Hearts", but I don't think it's available in English yet. Her birth date is Jan. 10, 2006, which often but not always helps us to know her age.

Yes, it was really raw. Raw and beautiful. Six year old first grader reading lyrics in English and sounding astounding. The recording studio is at her school and though it wasn't her first time there, it was very early. I love the little jump for jou when she hits that big phrase the first time.

@@mrstlu4838 that's her grandmother. And watch where she's looking when she signs. Yes, some were to Grandma. She signs "volume up" several times and tells the producer OK. I'm a recording engineer. I know when they artist tells me what to do. BTW she was signaling volume up for her headphones. You can't stop a recording because your gear needs to boost. You're paying thousands often. She was a knowledgeable professional even at 6 years.

This was 1 yr before her audition on NGT (in 2013 for the 2014 season), "Gloomy Sunday" which you loved. For “I who have nothing” covers by Tom Jones & Shirley Bassey from @rotorhead1942 The studio she's in is at Kulturskolen in Oslo (public school for extracurricular studies of music and other performing arts) and the technician is one of the teachers at the school. You can see it on the techs video screen & soundboard) Angelina: Was it ok? Tech: I think it was very good for being a first take. I think it was absolutely fantastic. @@pocho1071 her grandma released it after she won NGT. This was filmed when she was 6. The next year she went on NGT & than 2 years later this was released when she was 9.

You should also check her in studio rehearsal of "I'm a fool to love you. she was 11or 12 then.

The other song she sang when she was 6 is Hurt. And yes there is also a video on KZread.

That crazy first note... something no 6 year old should be able to do... then immediately shows she's truly a 6 year old by jumping up and down. She's built different.

My guess is this was her first try in a studio. I think at the jumping up and down point was when she was indicating, "I got it. I can do it!!!" And from that point on she got even BETTER! Her confidence from that point on has never wavered, no matter what song she takes on.

That little voice crack is adorable. Even so young, she’s got some serious pipes. 😃

I know is hard to believe but there she is at age 6, I guess when you truly love something anything is possible and her love is "Music" 🌹👏👏👍✌🤘❤🇨🇱🙂🌹

Hi guys! She's 6 years old here. The tech was her after-school teacher for the program she was in. They have a little conversation after the song and the tech told Angelina she messed up a couple of words in the middle and Angelina said she was aware of it and asked the tech if they could do the song again. 6 years old!?!?!?!? Like you guys said, she knew at this age exactly what her goal was and it would take work to get there. What's amazing, as well, is her enthusiasm! She loves what's she's doing so, so much!

She is 6 in that video. This was before the Norway got talent appearance. It might have posted later but she is 6 on this video. Look at her face. it's a cute and puffy baby face. BTW she wanted to sing on Norway Got Talent at the age of 5 but the rules are that the minimum age is 7.

Angelina putting in the work, striving for perfection, at a very young age, it's so good that we get to see this "work in progress". The date of the video is misleading, I don't think grandma Mery (who was recording this) had a KZread channel back then. She has been a little out on Angelina's age on other videos, it likely that she is 7 years old here, but hey, this young lady did not let her age show in her performance. Her mix up with the lyrics is understandable, remember, the conversation with the teacher was in Norwegian, reading English lyrics whilst trying to catch the notes - amazing. Shirley Bassey was one of her top influences back then, she particularly liked Diamonds are forever(which she sang age 11 at proysen festivalen 2017).

Remember she is singing in another language than her normal and she's very young 6 years old she stated that the hardest word to sing for her was cotton when singing summertime on Norway's got talent.

This is just a testament to her amazing gift... you can watch all the America, Britain and any other country's got talent shows, and you will not see another 6 year old perform at this level. This girls is on a level all of her own. I am not saying that the people on the shows aren't talented. There are some amazing kids on the shows, but not one of them comes even close to being able to do what this girl does. She at this age is already far beyond what most teenagers could pull off. Doing arranging, vocal control, use of affects, power, and, oh yeah, English is not her native language. Unbelievable!!!!!

This was at a recording studio in her Elementary School. She was in kindergarten or first grade, making her 5 or 6 years old. Guys, what is so amazing is that she's reading the lyrics, singing the song in English, her third language. The first is Norwegian and the second is Iranian ( her grandma ). And amazingly, she does this in one take. No previous rehearsals. At the end of the video, Angelina asks how was it ? The studio engineer replies not bad for the First Take. She did 2 previous songs, maybe at 5 years old. They were " Rolling in the Deep " and " Hurt ". What were you guys doing at 5 years old ?

SIX years old and absolutely slaying a Sir Tom Jones song. A NORWEGIAN FIRST GRADER, reading lyrics in ENGLISH, while conveying every note with astonishing precision, power, and emotion! I never get tired of this performance, nor will I ever tire of Angelina as a singer and as an extraordinary "superhuman" being with a heart as big as the world. By the way, she REALLY IS 6; the video was not released by her family until much later. That's the reason for your confusion on the video's release date and the discrepancy between that and her true age here.

This video was recorded in 2012. Angelina is born January 10. 2006. In other words, she is six years old. She did Gloomy Sunday, and all of me, both by Billie Holiday, in NGT at age 7. I remember watching her audition and thinking "this will not go well" when she said what song she was going to sing. A minute or so later I was laughing and crying and being absolutely sure I witnessed something very very special.

this was angelina's first trip to studio in basement of oslo waldorf school which has an afterschool music and performing arts program. angelina sang 4 different songs during these visits. " i who have nothing " shirley bassey..." hurt "christina aguilara/johnny cash...rolling in the deep and skyfall ...adele ....yes 6...(when angelina's mother realized she was singing she asked her to sing " twinkle,twinkle, little star "angelina told her mom she didn't sing children's songs )....angelina asked how it was and engineer said pretty good for first take and what happened in middle...angelina starts laughing asks if he wants her to sing again...she mixed up some words or something and just kept on going. i did a little research on this school and i wouldn't be suprised if there is not a waiting list to get in. i am very curious if angelina signed up as a painter/artist possibly as opposed to music..
