What I find MOST amazing is that this young person is singing "convincingly" about the harsh end of a relationship, when I can only believe she's never experienced a relationship of this nature. She must be so empathic that she literally picks up the emotion of the singer she's covering. I love this young lady's skill, but I'm still baffled by that particular ability. How will a person THAT sensitive survive life when those experiences are actually her own?!

I've been following Angelina for 7 years and I still cry at a lot of her songs, many times over. Now, listening to this one. It's not just her voice, it's her whole being, it's who she is.

Thanks Brenda. Guys listen to her latest songs. Million Miles is a tribute to her grandfather and Seventh Heaven is as she calls it popjazz.

If you want to listen to a song you can listen to most singers, if you want to feel the song listen to Angelina. Asia crying listening to Angelina is normal, that is why I as a man can not listen to Angelina in public.

Isn’t it prophetic? The judges’ comments on Norway’s Got Talent. Comments like, “I think you were born to sing.” “I felt the sadness.” “You have a natural melancholy in you.” “You don’t think, you FEEL and that is the sign of a true artist.” “You’re reaching something inside me when you sing.” In 10 years you will be 18. I think that is completely incomprehensible.” “ “You’ve been given the ability to convey emotions to other people.” “You have a unique ability to communicate. This is a gift from the universe,” and more. How did these judges know to say and feel everything we have felt and said about Angelina for the last 7 or 8 years? The answer is they knew from day one, and I believe the entire world will know very soon.

As a 55yr old Alaskan man... AJ has gently pulled tears from my eyes more than a few times. And like you said, I really can't explain it. It's raw emotion, no filter, no games... sung in a way that causes a person to trust her. To be vulnerable with her. And then that beautiful voice does the rest. I'm a musician, and absolutely love music... but never, ever, has a singer caused me to cry. Much less on several different occassions and performances. Angelina is special. Excruciatingly and beautifully so...

I'm a grown-a** 57 year old man and she definitely has unmatched ability to cause me to well up! Her vocal skills are incredible...extremely gifted artist. And, she is a humanitarian...she sings her live performances barefoot to raise awareness for children around the world who are poor and shoeless. While traveling with her family in the Middle East as a young child, Angelina encountered another young girl who was weighing people in the street with a bathroom scale to support her family. The girl was shoeless, so Angelina took her own shoes off and gave them to her...she has so much compassion and love for people. She is aptly named!

Angelina makes most people cry when she sings. The best way I can describe what people feel when she sings is hypnotized. You have no choice but to focus on her and what she is singing. She knows how to bring real emotion out of people. She is the best overall singer I have ever seen and heard...period!

Asia you have experienced the magic of Angelina. Many a grown women and men have cried listening to the BAREFOOT PRINCESS. You really should check out her original song A MILLION MILES which she wrote for her grandpa and also dedicated it for anyone who's ever lost a loved one. Talk about emotion!!! Not surprised on your reaction. In her Norway’s Got Talent debut (when she was 7 years old) and sang Gloomy Sunday (from Billie Holiday) she made a judge cry. There is something in her voice that is hypnotic and reaches inside your soul. Her Million Miles live in studio video (dedicated to her late grand father and all those who have lost a loved one) will have the same impact on you. God has sent us an Angel. With all division in this world, there seems to be one consensus, Angelina has touched them on a personal level.

Her voice touches that spot on a LOT of people. I'd say pretty much everybody. Listening to her is just about always an emotional experience. You won't find any artist that infuses more emotion into their singing. That's what she does and she has it down pat. When she performs you not only hear the song, you feel it too.

Angelina Jordan feels every word that she sings, therefore you feel every word. She just touches your soul....... 💜

"Somebody help me make it make sense" The answer is--It's Angelina! She does that to many, many fans, whether younger women or older men. She touches us with her musical soul in inexplicable ways. She is so special. Some folks don't feel that, and they are truly missing out. She does pay homage to the original but it is always Angelina's after she covers it. Great reaction! She still goes to school. and I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her fully. Ever since I heard Angelina, she has been my favorite vocalist/singer. Angelina puts life in the song, makes it more soulful and emotional and really touches your heart and emotions that you cry.

Angelina doesn’t sing songs. She sings emotions that go directly to our souls creating beauty and joy. This is Angelina’s world. We just live in it!

Never in all my 64 years have I heard a voice like Angelina Jordan. She is at the apex of singers. I have not been a fan of the old blues songs until I listened to her. Her delivery, tone, vocal aptitude, and emotional depth scores 10 out of 10--in my humble opinion. You guys are my favorite to react to these videos. You have a genuine heartfelt reaction that comes across on the screen that is very attractive. I wish that I could meet you two.

I am 75 years old and I have been following AJ for a couple of years and almost every time I hear her sing I get incredibly emotional. She has made my music life so much better. I think there are so many different reasons why she does this to US; voice quality, her incredible HUMAN quality, and the way she puts her heart and sole into each and every song she sings. You’re not alone! Count the number of comments from grown men who cry every time they hear her sing no matter how many times they’ve heard the songs. It doesn’t matter your gender, age, background, or location, Angelina has the power to touch your soul!

"her voice ain't even something I can reckon with". perfectly said. I've been trying to say that for a couple years now. I've never been this continuously and consistently captivated as I have with Angelina. she's a healing balm for me, she makes the day better every time.

Her voice is an instrument and she knows that instrument intimately. She caresses each and every note with care and a tenderness that comes from a place of great love and personal depth of knowledge and respect of that instrument. She exudes a masterful ability to capture the essence of emotions that exceeds her existence and pulls the listeners' soul into her world and exposes herself in a raw take me captive no holds barred manner that leaves you speechless and amazed and with a feeling of gratitude that she has chosen to share her gift with you and leaves you wanting more. She is an enigma, a muse, a weaver of emotions and a prodigy/virtuoso. I only hope she is strong enough and has a solid support group around her so that the music industry doesn't make a slave of her and destroy her love for performing and suck the innocence from her and steal her soul.

This gives me chills once again. When "that spot" gets touch some kind of healing happens. In interviews she has talked about a special place that she is in when she sings; she has described it as endless love/happiness/light, but really hard to describe in words. So....whatever that says to you.... Adele's voice is very good, but it has a sharper quality to it. Angelina's voice has a more tender quality to it. Like you say, not taking anything away from either singer, but it is that tender or compassionate quality to Angelina's voice. 💜 It touches me like it touches Asia.

I have listened to her every day since then, and I support her not just as an amazingly gifted artist, but as a remarkable person who brings much needed love, hope, compassion, and generosity to the world.

Great reaction! Angelina has been making grown men (and women) cry since her very first TV appearance at age seven, so nothing to be ashamed of there! Also, when she does covers after the age of eight or so, she neither imitates or emulates the originals. Very often, she simply improves them. For originals, «7th Heaven» and «Million Miles» live in studio is a great place to start, but the older ones («Shield» live on Skavlan, «What is Life» and «Oslo») are also very good.

I'm a 35 year old man, i don't cry. But this little girl's voice walks on my tear canals. I guess that's why i keep listening to it, it makes me feel things I've been taught to ignore my whole life.

I cried like that when I first started listening to her. I have her cover of Stay (Rhianna) and Wicked Games (Chris Isaac)on my play list. I cry every time I hear those two songs. I can’t even listen to her Bohemian Rhapsody without losing completely!

As far as I can see you wrote a song called "My Angel" in memory of your mother, who passed away. Angelina lost her grandpa and wrote the song "Million Miles" in memory of him. Anyone who lost someone dear can relate to the song.

I think that when it comes to art there is an abstract thing called "beauty" that exists somewhere that we can't go. But some artists can summon that thing called beauty and reveal it to us in it's pure form. I don't know how they bring it from that abstract place to where we are but some artists can do that. And when pure beauty is revealed to us it can be overwhelming. That is what makes you tear up. I think Angelina may be an angel that slipped out of heaven when God wasn't watching or maybe he sent her here on purpose as a gift. All I know is that when Angelina sings she reveals the beauty in music and that is a gift that is priceless.

I have watched so many reactors burst into tears listening to Angelina. She is an empath. Her breathing and her key changes, her delivery, her timing, and also just her energy, are all able to reach right into you, heart and soul. She takes you on an emotional journey. Angelina possesses a God given gift. She's sings as if she's pleading, as if she's having to accept an end, she knows in her heart was coming... And you feel the angst of it.. how she translates the lyrics that she's probably not lived yet is all wrapped up in her heart, translated by that voice. Even Queen granted her the copyright for her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody...let that sink in! Thank goodness there are so many great songs writers for her to cover! Maybe it will help to know Quincey Jones says she's the greatest talent since Micheal Jackson! He invited her to open his 85th birthday celebration with "Fly Me To The Moon" (you can see video of the rehearsal with performance audio over it - she was 13. SO smooth and beautiful!
