No. You were too loud and the source video was too quiet and of low quality. There was also a disconnect between the picture and the sound track at one point which there isn't on the original video. Very, very poor.

I wanted to, but apparently you recorded this so that only you could hear the performance. Maybe re-upload with the audio fixed and then I will have a chance to enjoy it. I left the video at about 3 minutes once I realized no amount of volume on my end would fix it.

Keep in mind that he was only 22 years old at that time. Tomorrow, May 24 is his birthday and he will be 28. His voice has become even more incredible and he has gotten much better at speaking English. Please react to Ikanaide from the 2021 Tokyo Jazz festival. He signs beautifully in Japanese 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Just my opinion but I think Ikanaide in the studio was absolutely beautiful

At this competition he had to learn the English and Chinese songs phonetically, but the 500 member Chinese audience voted for their favourite performances, and I don't think they would have noticed his pronunciation issues. See his cover of Lionel Richie's "Hello" from his guest performance the next year on Singer 2018 to see some improvement.

Dimash started music school at the age of 5. He has a Masters in Composition and is going for a doctorate in Musicology. Music is his life. You will not believe the variety he gives us. I have been listening to him for 5 years and he still surprises me.

He had only a week to learn this in English. He knew no English except hello my name is Dimash. In this Singer Competition he learnt to sing a Chinese song in just a week as well. He did the Show Must Go On in English too, just a week to learn so some pronunciation is a bit off but still awesome performance. When he gave his concert in Kiev he decided the night before the concert that he wanted to sing a song for his Ukraine audience in Ukraine so he learnt a Ukraine folk sing Marigolds on the plane. He recently sang his first song in Japanese and apparently his pronunciation is excellent.

not really tho. he can not sing in 7 and 8 just kinda hit the odd whistle- and down at the bottom end is only fry - ive never heard him sing in the first octave. his real singing range is 6

Dimash had little English past hello and thank you here. He learnt the lyrics phonetically with the English songs in this show, eg, Queen’s The Show Must Go On - still brilliant. His recent songs in English are Stranger and Fly Away - two totally different songs, two incredible performances. 🙏🏻🇦🇺

give this a listen, had to learn Japanese and the people there said his diction was perfect. He is asking his love to never leave him. Ikanaida means don't go. Notice how he directs himself, cracks me up. He has such great mic technique, well he does everything well. Listen for the breath. You need earphones to hear that really.

Welcome to Dimash world! FWIW, I could hear both you and Dimash well volume-wise. It was not the clearest recording but that is not your fault. You asked if he sang around the house. He started voice training at age 5 (he turned 28 today) and still studies with his coach -- and practices 3 hours a day. Just the future reference it was very difficult to get our volume adjusted. Your mics were very loud and the sound of the video was so low we could barely hear it. Hard to find a middle ground where we can hear the video and not have our eardrums blasted out when you guys spoke. And perhaps you could avoid chewing ice into the mic. This was in 2017 when he was 22 years old he will be 28 in tomorrow on May 24th. If you watch his new wave 2021 performance of Stranger you will hear that he has expanded his lower register to about an octave lower than you heard in this song. That being said I'm glad you guys found Dimash and I will be following your journey through your reactions.

If you haven't done so you; might want to give a listen to Lara Fabian; as David Foster put in 2010 at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - "a voice described as heavenly - a voice from another planet". Lara is Dimash's idol since childhood; Dimash has covered Lara's songs Adagio and Mademoiselle Hyde. Lara has often been mentioned in the same breathe as Whitney, Celine & Mariah; however her career in the US was blocked (rumor has it) by Celine's management team both were with Sony and Celine was there first. Lara is a polyglot can sing in 11+ languages and speaks fluently in French, Italian, English, Spanish, Russian, Dutch and Portuguese. Her father is Belgium and mother Italian/Sicilian; she moved to Canada in her 20's. She has written lyrics to many songs and has had her songs covered by Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand and others. Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonate, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and give his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and was translated into a pop song for Lara. She wrote lyrics in english and italian for it and is the original performer. Dimash begins sitting by playing the piano, soft voice and then stands up and continues. He ends up on the other side of the stage kneeling and with crazy high notes are D5/E5/F5 for 14 sec. amazing ending. ….saludos desde México….🇲🇽🇰🇿🇲🇽🇰🇿🇲🇽🥰👏🏻❤️

Subscribed. In that year 2017, Dimash did not speak English, it is too different from Kazakh or Russian. Now his English is much better, he even speaks it. Kisses to both and I hope you can see more of him, I love him.

He spoke very little English during this competition. You need to listen to Stranger from last year and hear the improvement in his English. It is a near flawless verbage in English, not to mention, it is an epic performance from Dimash and fabulous composition from iconic Russian composer Igor Krutoy!!!

Yes he does leave 1000% on the stage! That's what draws us all in - note by note - breath by breath. The audience 'commits' to a performer who commits his all. He's the real deal and in a league of his own. What was he doing as a child? Studying music! But lots of other things too. Apparently he's pretty good at martial arts as well. Dimash would have no trouble performing on Broadway - in any role. He's studied musical theatre performance as well as pretty much every other genre - including Rap! As for his English competence? This is improving all the time, but at the time of this performance he had virtually NONE! He learned the whole thing phonetically, just as he does with the other 14+ languages he sings in. Just reflect on that for a moment. Nil language 'scaffolding' to rest that performance on - just his immaculate perfectly pitched ear. 👍

You need to seriously do Dimash Sinful Passion if you needed a fan for this. You will need an ice bath for that.

This was all early 2017 when Dimash was on the show "I Am Singer". You should probably take some of the advice and hit his 3 early hits. (But I will recommend 7 more to assist your search) During 2017 Dimash probably could only speak 2-3 sentences in English and his pronunciation was pretty "Thick"...His English is getting much better in 2022 where can actually do short interviews in English. 1) SOS (pick any variation you wish... they are all good and all different.)It is the song that he is most known by. 2) Sinful Passion (a song he rarely sings now, but the difficulty of his version of a song from a Kazakh Rock group known as A'Studio...performs this song with Dimash in honor of their recently deceased lead singer...be prepared to have your mind blown in this short song with a crazy long 23 second last note while doing runs) 3) Ogni Pietra (an anthem for the 2019 European Summer games written by his friend Igor Krutoy) 5+ octave range song sung in Italian. be prepared to have your mind blown once again. 4) Stanger (2021... the growth of Dimash is evident...including his English. Written by Igor Krutoy) 5) Ave Maria (2021... 100% vocalize version. Igor Krutoy(Jewish) and Dimash(Muslim) wanted to show respect to the song. Igor contacted his Catholic friends before writing this version for Dimash and the end result was stunning, tear jerking and 'though there are no words, your heart feels this song more than any song he has ever sung. 6) Be With Me (2020...music video where Dimash channels Michael Jackson and Jackie Chan...his two idols...the rest I'll leave to your imagination) 7)Quiran Elim (2020...Dimash's directorial debut of a Kazakh folk song written by his friend. Stunjing and heart grabbing. 8) Know - You can do the live version or the MV or the vocalize version known as "ascolte la voce". Written by Igor Krutoy originally for Lara Fabien. Dimash live version is stunning. I recommend that version. 9) Passione: Igor Krutoy's version of Dante's Inferno, sung by Dimash. Good vs bad. Amazing!!! 10) Unforgettable Day: (It must be the GAKU version or you won't hear the end of Dimash fans🤣🤣) Dimash wrote this song when he was only 19 yrs old. There is a major surprise in this song. This is a good start. This will allow you to easily be on the good side of "The Dears" (what Dimash calls his fans) and it will grow your channel quicker than you can say superkalafragalisticexpialadocious 🤣 Good luck with your channel and have fun!!!
