Unchained Melody is a seemingly simple song to sing but it's not. It goes from low to high notes instantaneously which requires a seamless transition from chest to head voice spanning many notes. He's a budding singer in the Philippines that possesses an unconventional singing technique rarely seen nowadays here so this is why he's been well received by both the judges and the general Filipino audience. I also agree that agility in contemporary pop music is very much applied and absolutely adds to the appeal of the performance because it allows for a much easier and better sounding riffs and runs that today's songs frequently and liberally employ. He has some resonance with Dimash but I think his style is much better than Dimash because his voice control is superb and he doesnt overdo his singing. I didnt find any yelling and screaming! He has such a brilliant voice.

He's from the Philippines and currently in a singing competition called Tawag Ng Tanghalan (TNT). Remember TNT BOYS? They competed in this same TV Show as individual contestant. Keifer finished 2nd, Mackie finished 3rd and Francis 5th. These 3 boys guessed on a TV Show GGV were asked to sing altogether impromptu then the rest is history. It became viral and so popular in the internet, they are now 3 in 1 amazing group called the TNT BOYS.
