Army had been waiting to see him acting since then, and this was a wonderful surprise 💜 IU is not only an outstanding vocalist, but she is also a great actress with experience in several kdramas. Hard to overstate what a big celebrity IU is. Imagine Taylor Swift but with a big handful of Academy Award nominations and several Best Actor trophies on top of all her vocal and songwriting awards. She was already "Nation's Little Sister" before BTS even started training. She has collaborated twice with Suga - once on her song "Eight" and again on his latest album's "People Pt. 2". Her concerts are legendary, sometimes lasting 5 hours, and it's just her up there. For 5 hours. And to top it off, she is also half of one of the hottest couples in SK along with mega-talented veteran actor Lee Jong-suk. (real name pronounced 'ee-jee-eun'. Eun rhymes with French word for 1)

"A positive spin on a very dark video." Thank you, Johnny. What a heartbreaking, beautiful, short film. IU had a cold when she recorded this song, which, I think, added to the ethereal quality of her voice.

In the end, IU covers V's one good eye so he cannot see the end. Love this... so beautiful.

IU was very sick during the recording of the song for the video and there is a behind the scenes of her in the studio recording the song and you can see how ill she was at the time. It's pretty amazing watching her work through that.

IU is one of the most successful kpop idol/actor. love her voice! her & V’s acting is superb.. i cried so much after watching it.. btw she got 2 songs with SUGA! 1st a collab from IU’s album, a song titled “eight” feat and prod SUGA. & 2nd one from SUGA/AGUST D’s D-DAY album “People pt. 2”

IU can't hear and V’s one eye can't see ,in the end IU covered the good eyes of Taehyung so he won't see the horrible ending in front of them ,im Stuck at how a single tear from Taehyung’s good eye traced its path down his face and IU’s hand gently covered his eyes, It's as if he found a momentary refuge in her touch, offering a subtle relief from the overwhelming sensation ... AH I CAN'T STOP CRYING 😢😢😢❤

It's a lot to take in, but watch it again. V is blind in one eye, she is deaf. The video camera takes all their problems away. The people in the banquet scene represent the way society rejects imperfections. The symbolism goes deep. I cry every time.

I’ve only seen this video once - here on Throga. I was unaware of IU and V as well. The MV was incredible, but I didn’t realize her character was deaf and his was blind in his right eye. How does a viewer (like me) know that? I don’t imagine it’s referenced in the lyrics….? I’m even more drawn in to this fantastic MV and these 2 so talented people! ❤️

My mister is my all time favourite drama. This is kind of drama that leaves you with nothing but comfort, warmness, and big smile 😊

V AMAZING acting out all these emotions of fear happiness sorrow furious, in a 5 minute music video is crazy because we see actors failing to act out a single emotion in an 1 hour long episode but here he is, the versatility is showing 😭They they forgot what they were running from because through the lens of the camera, they were able to just love and enjoy life until the reality caught up to them and they were taken away ICRY 😭😭❤

I love this song and MV, and their acting is amazing! But guys, you have to react to IU and Tae (V) singing IU's song Ending Scene on IU's Palette (her talk show). Their voices are sooo good together💜

When I first saw this, I cried. And her voice will take you up.

The cube hunted down anyone who was not 'perfect'.... then it vaporised them... if you watch closely you'll see steam coming off them both once the cube turned red.... You can only imagine how loud Army was when we saw this initially hahahaha... 'Not our Tae !!!! '.... hahaha... IU is beautiful... her concerts are just epic... she started her solo career around 15 and has worked really hard.... she is a seriously nice person to boot......

This is probably the best mv of this year. IU's magical voice extraordinary writing skill and great acting skill by both artist made it more beautiful. About IU her popularity is insane in k-pop it is beyond BTS and BP. It's hard to explain to new people or people outside of Asia how popular she is. She debuted in 2008 with a super flop song lost child. But today she is mother of pak( perfectly all killed is a honour to a song when it becomes no 1 at all streaming platforms in korea).

I really want to see IU and V together in a drama so badly.

She’s a lyricist, composer & producer, who wrote “Love Wins All” and produced the MV. She has also done duets on her KZread show with V, Suga and J-Hope which are all amazing! She is like a chameleon and she manages to adapt to so many styles and can sing along with everyone. The segment on her show actually has them choose one of her songs and she chooses one of theirs, and they either swap or duet! About this song, IU recorded this song while recovering from a bad cold. She was coughing before recording and in between takes. She obviously looked exhausted. The director kept on asking her if she wants to reschedule or take a break. But she insisted to push it through. Her work ethics is off the chart!

V is a superb actor the only kdrama he's been in was Hwarang excellent but he puts his all into everything as you can hopefully see by the mv of his song friends and all of the MV's from his album layover plus every mv BTS put out they all do a great job. If you notice in This mv V has one eye that is blind and IU is presumably mute speaking sign language. Thru the mv she is seen leading V all the way until V takes the lead in attacking the cube. At the end when the cube has won she is seen covering V's good eye so he can not see the end coming as the cube turns red and hot you can see the steam coming off of them as they as vaporized. Cried like a baby watching this it was so good at telling their story

oh. you guys have started with IU. You're in for a very nice and beautiful treat. I recently watch her Manila and London leg tours and I just can't get enough of her live. Her voice and personality to boot is just so wonderful. Her concerts are another thing altogether and don't get me started on her as an actress and as a songwriter. Jieun is really just a beautiful and lovable human with an impossible beautiful voice.

According to the director, "CUBE" represents the various forms of discrimination and oppression that pervade the world, and the video camera lens used as a key item is a "love filter. In other words, love. It implies that it is difficult to overcome difficulties in the world, and yet, in a world in ruins, people rely on each other and try to win through to the end, even in a situation where each is wounded and tired. The director's view of the world and the two actors' performances linked this 5-minute music video, which is not even a movie, with a wonderful song, brought tears to my eyes once again. Thank you very much for reacting this music video.

Ah!! I couldn't wait to see y'all discover IU's voice and storytelling talents (through her songwriting, singing, and acting). I will get to hear this song live when I see her in concert in a couple weeks (on what I think is her first ever U.S. tour, even though it's been almost 16 years since she debuted, and she's an absolute legend throughout Asia). Because you like live performances, you have a treasure trove of her work through the years, because she records MANY live performances and shares concert clips. She is also super versatile in styles, and it's fun to hear her voice with many genres. There is a behind the scenes video of her recording Love Wins All, when she was sick a couple days after filming the MV, on her YT channel.

FYI: she was getting over a flu when recorded the song...she is talented an a 'Senior' in K-pop, with only 31 years old. Side note: I discover her in a K-drama and then came across her singing career which is older than her acting career. This MV behind the scenes is fantastic and it show how professional are both of them, highly recommended.

IU is a very famous singer in Korea. She has a great voice and great songs and is very very popular. She has worked with BTS several times but more often with Suga. Suga has produced a song for her (Eight) and he also featured in it and she featured in his song People Pt 2. She has a show called IU's Palette and both Suga and V have been on the show. During the show they sing together with a live band and I would definitely recommend watching those 2 episodes as well as the song Eight which Suga produced for her and featured in.
