I saw them last october by complete accident. I spent 15 years thinking they never tour the US, and I hear they took a break touring with Iron Maiden to do a random standalone show in Minneapolis. I found out 3 days beforehand. I dropped everything I was doing to see them. This was a bucket list item for me. They sounded absolutely incredible.

@@CrowWingOfficial had I had the chance, I would have spent the money to meet the band. I never thought I'd see them live. If you missed them, I'm sure they will come back around. I almost flew to Europe for this 😅

Black Symphony is the best show I ever seen for a DVD. Great production, edition, setlist, outfits... Please, do more reacts for this show! Our Solemn Hour, The Promise and The Truth Beneath the Rose are the biggest performance from this concert!

Our Solemn Hour from this show is epic. Ice Queen is worth a watch too.

I support Solemn Hour too.

One of my all time favorite Within Temptation songs. Big, bombastic, and powerful. I always loved the 'hand dancing' movements that Sharon used to do.

Best concerts ever, her voice is magical.

The video that accompanies this song is breathtaking. Her voice, the music, the warnings, the choreography all gell...great presentation.

They tour N America... after album releases, so, they just did, so USA in 2024??? I saw them in 2011, 2014, ans missed another, and too much money wirh Iron Maiden.

Ive aeen Within Temptation live 3 times now, and hopefully many more times to come. 1st time was at the Brixton Academy in London, 2nd time was supporting Iron Maiden at Twickenham Stadium in London, and 3rd time was at the O2 Apollo in Manchester. I met Sharon after the Manchester show, what a lovely,kind, and humble lady she is.

And to think, she did this while still incredibly ill and shortly after she had finally gotten her voice back. You can barely hear the congestion in her voice. They almost had to cancel this collab concert, but since everyone put so much work in it, she wanted to proceed.

Within Temptation are masters of tempo and rhythm ...

Some day I would love to listen to you critique a bad performance and explain what made it bad and how it could be improved

Hey Beth, if you're doing "Month Of The Wolf", why not react to Seven Days To The Wolves by Nightwish (live at Wembley 2015)? It's been ages since you've done any Nightwish and this one is a) not as often reacted to, and b) an absolute blast.

Super knowledge and analyses Beth. We love Within Temptation. Both the older classics and the great new material ✨ Sharon is our favorite women singer across all music genres.

I love this song, this is the opener for my favorite Within Temptation album The Heart of Everything. I don't think they ever made an album as good again, though The Unforgiving was solid. Her vocals were SO GOOD during this era, she consistently performed songs like The Cross, The Truth Beneath the Rose and All I Need that are very demanding. Sadly she got very sick for this show though and even though she still pulled it off, her voice is usually richer and her tone is brighter than this. I also saw them twice at Mexico City during this tour and they were amazing! They performed some of their rarest songs like Aquarius, Forsaken, Dark Wings and Running up that Hill. Her vocals were just perfect. And I got to see live my favorite song by them which is The Promise. I really enjoyed that era.

She did not get VERY sick prior to black Sympgony... A few days before the show. She just lodt her voice, could not rehearse, and was worried, bit voice did return the morning of the show, so no cancel. She did say the textuer of her vocals was altered though, but not in a bad way.

I really enjoy one of their latest songs: "wireless". Sharon is amazing in this one, as usual!

I am not a singer, I'm bad.. but if I was then would also like to sing with a big band like Brian Setzer from Stray Cats did , or play with a great orchestra and a choir like Epica did :) Thank you Beth for this amazing video!

A "compliment" that requires you to insult someone isn't actually flattering. Sharon den Adel is an incredible vocalist, well-supported by the fact that she was sick for the duration for this performance and still pulled it off. It also sounds like you think 'orchestra' = 'movie soundtrack', which says a lot about your (lack of) experience of film compositions.

I was lucky enough to watch them in concert as a late birthday gift to myself in 2017(?). Even in a small space, they go hard. You can tell that they love their fans. 👏
