Hello my Gorgeous Friend! Lucia everyone will see this performance in their own way. Dimash is much like a painter/sculptor artist presenting his art in a gallery show. We are the viewers looking at his work, trying to understand the message and to wonder at the purity of his mastery of his instrument. I do agree that some of his performances have been giving off a darker vibe lately though. However, you are doing such a great job getting back into the swing of things. There's a new realty that all if DQ recent videos are CC so to react to Dimash you can't use his videos straight out 0f his channel. They have to be altered. Or you can stop reaching to Dimash all together amd have one last problem to worry about. Many have already stopped reacting to Dimash.

This song is about people forced to relocate in a Stranger’s land; in my opinion the dark clothing represents the sorrow and hardships that they have to go through. The minor theme also reinforces that. I love this song!!

The song message is basically discover new height.. Try new things, do not limit yourself with what you comfortable with.. That is the reason why, it's dark.. Uncharted territory always portrayed as black and dark as it's not discovered yet. People wearing robe and candle, it's mean light along the way.. It's dim but there is path and still light and hope even in the dark pitch black territory. It's nothing about reincarnation.. Even the music gives intense feeling of journey.. Adventure.. Many people listen to this particular song instantly feeling like its an ost for adventure, fantasy kind of movie.. Sailing across the wide ocean.. Go through uncharted territory. Also u should notice at the end of the first phrase, Dimash moves like he is stumbling.. That also got meaning.. It's mean his feet touch a new ground.. A new place unbeknownst to him.. He confuse but still moves forward.

@@LuciaSinatra unfortunately, not every path is bathed in light and positivity. Just as you, yourself, have experienced some “blocks” even during this reaction, Dimash too has had difficulties. Critics - qualified or not - and this global pandemic have plagued Dimash’s journey and periodically darkened Dimash’s mood. The visuals for Stranger are perfect for the message. Light at the end of the tunnel, New birth. Renewal of faith and energy. I appreciate your efforts to understand, but maybe your experiences are different and you just haven’t yet recognized the difficulties reflected in the nuances of this performance. It would be lovely if there was no darkness anywhere, but it is reflective of reality. If you’re seeking light, Dimash’s Ave Maria (another song from Igor Krutoy) may be something you’d appreciate a bit better.

This is my reading of this 3 songs. - Stranger, Fly Away and Ave Maria... This "trilogy", these three songs are closely related, and taken together, they close the circle of life. ''Stranger'' symbolise birth. This performance is full of symbols. Everything - the music, his voice, his movements, lyrics, the whole staging, the lights, the slowly moving light circle behind Dimash at the very beginning, absolutely everything you see and hear symbolise the whole birth process, from the beginning to the end. At the beginning 9 man and 9 women carry candles /the small light of life/. They hide Dimash. Why are they 9? Well, guess for yourself. A large stream of light begins to swirl behind Di when he appears. He emerges from this circle and begins to move slowly past the nine women and men. He reaches the center of the stage, where there is the same luminous circle, indicating that he is still in the womb. When he sings in the low register, pay attention to the lyrics... ''Somewhere in my heart in ancient times I wandered Through these valleys I have climbed among these hills Faces from a past I’m haunted by their mem’ries Lives and loves I’ve lost I feel them in me still''.... He still carries the memories of all his past lives. He has not been born yet. Yes, I absolutely agree with you about the point of the song STRANGER. The song deals with the theme of reincarnation. It's actually pretty clear if you look at the text carefully. Dimash sings of places where he has been ages ago, of lives and loves that he once lost, but which still live in him. And about the chance to start AGAIN, to find out more and more who he really is. To do this, of course, he has to create a darker scenery, because it is about past times or lives. The light that is shown behind him is actually supposed to symbolize the step out into a new life, i.e. the birth. For me the songs are: STRANGER FLY AWAY AVE MARIA in context, a trilogy, to be seen. They express the past, present and future.

Oh si Lucía, es una canción sobre los Misterios de la Vida, al inicio sale una huella digital detrás de él, luego el útero materno lleno de líquido y finalmente el nacimiento donde se escucha un llanto cantado por Dimash y el ingreso de nuevo a una vida para mejorar, wouuu yo no lo capté al inicio así, y tampoco me gustó tanta oscuridad, me desconcertó pero me dejó impactada sin saber qué era lo que mi alma habia captado; y un reactor ruso cuenta de la Trilogia de Dimash y los mensajes profundos con esta canción, Flyaway y Ave Maria. This song for me had the correct visuals and dynamics and reflects all of Dimash's performances of all the songs he sings and therefore appropriate. In the context of this "Stranger" who finds himself in an unknown place/ foreign land, 'He' has initial great apprehension and a little scared of what might happen in the future. Being a stranger in this way does evoke dark and until the light of change occurs might well turn out that way. There is also a potential conflict in the "Strangers" own identity and how that may allow to "find his way".

I actually think that makes more sense than some of the more detailed theories I've seen presented here. It certainly simplifies a theme a lot of us have been trying to make more complex. That being said, I think this is a masterpiece of a vocal performance and possibly his best ever regardless of whatever meaning is behind the lyrics.

Quella versione in cinese era molto bella ma questa è molto molto di più!!

Thanks for your reaction, Lucia. I'm sorry you didn't like the song, it's one of my favourites. Did you have the subtitles turned on? I ask because Dimash never used the words "fire", "blood", or "spirits". He did say he's haunted by the memories of people he's loved and lost, but that doesn't have the same meaning as "haunted lives", I don't believe.

Hi dear, I loved the vocality (was incredible) and I read the lyrics, I repeated all the words he used. Probably I was I little dramatic while recording this video at 3 am. But now with all the point of views of the others I realized more messages! Hugs!

@@LuciaSinatra Ah, it makes sense. Thank you for the reply. I think you read the lyrics that the songwriter, Sarah Vaughan, wrote for the song. These aren't the same lyrics that Dimash sang when he performed the song. He eliminated the songwriter's parts about fire, blood and spirits. Perhaps he agreed with you that the original lyrics were a bit darker than he wished. I always enjoy your reactions to our favorite "Kazakh Latin lover". 😁 I read all the comments with various opinions on the meaning of this song and I see that you changed your opinion somewhat from your original reaction. I think your first reactions are very understandable. Italy is going through an awful time and you feel that deeply and passionately. I believe those feelings really had an impact on you in regards to this whole dark, somber setting. Skills, thats why Dimash is so good. I just wonder why I watched this video in this youtubers channel, wont happen again.
