Sebastian Bach is a force to be reckoned with. Sebastian is a total badass vocalist. This is back when music and vocalists were raw and real. It was the BEST time to grow up. I wouldn't change a thing. If people think this is great they need to hear him when he is NAILING those notes and trust me he most definitely can. The 80s was like one big party. These guys partied hard and created musical masterpieces. Rock on !! 🤘🤘🤘🤘 Oh And the tribute to yet ANOTHER GREAT band he nodded at the very end. Tesla's LOVE SONG. Check them out as well. Freakin killer!

In his prime Sebastian Bach was incredible. The three Skid Row albums with him were great, I had them on heavy rotation back then and still listen to them from time to time. Also B-Side Ourselves, where they've covered classics by The Ramones, Kiss, Rush, Jimi Hendrix and Judas Priest. The latter is one of the best duets ever, with Sebastian Bach and Rob Halford pushing each other. There's live recordings where you can see both having fun and how eager Sebastian was to go toe to toe with Rob, vocally. Pure metal greatness

I know back in the day I wrote them off without giving them a chance because of how their record company marketed them. They (the business people) tried to force them into the same formula they were using for every hard rock band in the late 80s: release two heavy singles and then a ballad, then get MTV to put the ballad in heavy rotation. Rinse, repeat, feed the machine, drive it into the ground until fans get sick of it. Later I heard lots of metal fans I respect speak highly of Skid Row and figured out I missed out on something.

Skid Row - Monkey Business -- Skid Row, during the previous album and the Slave to the Grind album, were on top. They didn't need to run second fiddle to anyone, as far as quality of music. They didn't last long, as many great bands. But it's a moment in time and they were doing it very, very well.

@Jay Bee No, he didn't hit all the notes. But even hammered, Bach could still hit the notes if he wanted to. But, as it was towards the END of a tour, he may have also toned it down to save his voice too. Truth is that, yes, he may have had better performances, but this one didn't suck and even hammered, he still sang amazingly great. At the end of any tour, artists start having fun because they know it's almost over. Pretty sure there were other performances Baz gave that he was just as hammered and sang just as well. He was clearly having fun and he was messing around.

One of my favorite ballads of all time. I'm 53 years old now but when I was younger I sang and played guitar. I was "ok" at it. I always wanted to be able to do the vibrato but could never achieve it consistently or not at all. I have often wondered if someone that cannot sing that high and can't work the vibrato if taking singing lessons can actually teach someone to do both. Loved seeing you watch this. I was waiting the entire song for the end when he screams the course at its highest. On the album there is no breaks or intake of breath on that part. It's all one long ass breath that seems to go on for ever and ever.

I've been a Skid Row fan since their first album, and followed Sebastian after they broke up (the replacement singer can't hold a candle to Seb). I saw first him live on the Slave To Grind tour in 1992 and for me his greatest vocal performance is "Wasted Time" and live it is soul breaking. kzread.info/dash/bejne/no11xNyDfrvPerw.html A random Live in '92 - kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKV6qrusqK3ehKw.html Sebastian for his part is still putting out albums, still touring, and still being his crazy, talented self.

Bach could not only SING, but can hold notes, screaming or not, with vibrato. You can totally tell he's out of breath and hot by this time... his studio sound is AMAZING! The last song of the set this day was Youth Gone Wild... he ran around like crazy on that stage singing. I don't know how he didn't have a heart attack. He was 19 or 20 here.
