Definitivamente esa traducción es decepcionante no Le hace honor a la verdadera letra no está ni cerca de la verdadera poesía que es la canción

I think this was about his mother. As a child, he looked up to her and watched her grow old.... That is my take on it but I don't know a lot of Spanish I just sorta pick up pieces here and there. (Sorry that probably wasn't helpful but it was a beautiful song.)

I recently assisted to one of his concerts here in my city (Charlotte) in North Carolina USA 🇺🇸 and the experience was amazing. The way he sang and the stage arrangements were incredible. Great artist.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of him, even if I'm Guatemalan too, but I really recognize that he is in the place he deserves as one of the most prolific composers actually in all of Latin America because of his hard work. The name of the song is "Mi novia se me está poniendo vieja", which means: "Time turns my girlfriend into an old woman". Hi, actually it would be transtated to "It breaks my heart", but the actual title of that song is "Mi novia se me está poniendo vieja" which translates to "My wife is getting older"
