LP is highly under-appreciated for the true Talent she is her voice is unique and one of a kind. Also, she has written songs for others like Back Street boys and etc .. Love her and she is even better in person .

It's because there is a back drop mic at the side of the stage that was capturing the live session as a whole. Plus her head voice is just naturally strong.

Would anyone agree that just listening to LP - without the benefit of experiencing her visually as well - would be a very different experience? Her presence/PRESENCE adds a lot to the total effect, IMHO 👉👏👏👈

Actually I may be wrong saying this, but a while ago I think I heard her say she actually wrote this song. As she's been a writer for musicians but wanted to become a musician herself, so doing it her way. So technically its her song.

Ahhhh this is awesome! Thank you so much for this reaction Tara. I love LP a bunch and she almost always delivers on the best live performances. If you want to react to more LP, I would reccomend and of the McKittrick Hotel Live videos. Switchblade is my favorite, but Strange and Muddy Waters are also fantastic! One thing I personally really love about LP is how musical she is, and how much she prioritizes the performance. Not every single one sounds exactly like the album version, but EVERY SINGLE performance is an outpouring of one emotion or another. And they always sound amazing, too.

Scott Hoying apparently realized that this song goes remarkably well over the "Time" section of Hans Zimmer's soundtrack for the movie Inception. "Time" is gorgeous, filled with strings and passion. Scott and Mario Jose recorded a remarkable performance of the song with that portion of the Inception soundtrack swelling in the background. The video is great. The soundtrack makes the song darker than when LP sings it, at least to my ears. When Scott sings out "Smoke em if you've got em cause it's going down", he sounds like a man with only minutes left to live. I watch that video every few days. I really like LP's performance as well and would love to know what she thinks of Scott's and Mario's cover.

Have known of LP since her start in NYC and Long Island. She is Amazing and Kind. ♥️ And now she is Back In The UNITED STATES 🩵

OH, and Scott Hoying and Mario Jose do a duet of this song (Lost on You). I know how you love Pentatonix. Just like me.

I know what u are saying!! it's a song there is not a I don't like. I saw her twice my second time was in feb 2019 I flew in from Italy visiting family in Toronto . I dragged my family to see her. When she was sing lost on you lp I heard my cousin yelling and pointing at me, telling her I was from Italy. Omg Susanna she walk up to me putting her hand on her haret and just started whilsting at me.
