The recording place is a Hotel room in London. He rerecorded this song during LYS tour in London. He said he wrote this song for his pets that passed away. I cried all through the night. Why Jin"s solo songs always make me cry!!!!! This song makes me recalled the memory that Jin held back his tears on V-live "Hongkong Eat Jin" as he talked about the death of his pet "Odeang". He always trys to not cry in front of his love, ARMY. He said he always wanted to show us good things. How warm he is!!! And Jin wrote the another song "Moon" of BTS'S NEW ALBUM. Jin wrote his love for ARMY. And he wished to make us happy and worried that we could see his wound. It's really good song.

I have heard some people almost mock Jin for a song about his pets, however they do not realize that these 7 guys have literally only had each other and staff for almost 10 years of their very short lives. They have spent their entire influential years with one another only, even apart from their families. They are understandably quite lonely as individuals. They can’t fully trust people so to speak, so the become attached to the animals/ pets they have. Even in their downtime they can’t “just go out” and do something leaving them inside, isolated. The main reason, i’m sure Jin is so into video games at his age, it is simply something to pass his time and be able to interact with others incognito.

Yes, for someone who really loves animal & tend to be alone to feel safe, my pet is sooo precious to me. That's why I can relate to JIn so much and literally crying when listening to this song. 😭💜

BTS members' studios and their producers' studios are all amazing with all of those instruments. It's just that when jin recorded this, they were doing their tour. So their producer, slow rabbit-nim, went overseas just to record this with jin. They were at a hotel that time. And yes, this is jin's self written song for his pets.

jin really is an amazing vocalist, he really is stable and rarely make any mistakes in live performances, his voice contain so much emotions , I can feel anything he sing even tho its in another language, I think its amazing how I feel the pain in his voice, I feel like I can touch his voice like its something physical with shapes, I think there are many great vocalists in the world with even better vocal techniques but there is something about jin's voice and the way he sings that is different, its like he is acting like we see expressions we can see on an actor when s/he is acting a sad scene , pls react to his covers I love you and MOM too. he never try to overshadow other members in any category he sometimes downplay his own talent to let others shine, I just love him so much.

Yeah Jin‘s technical singing is on another level and he can even hit quiet higher. He has a really good voice but as I said his highnotes puts him on another level. There are lots of videos where they „analyze“ how high he sings.

Thank you for this reaction. I'm surprised that you didnt mention anything about the pops of high notes (3:13) in the background. Many reactors think its instrumental but it's really Jin hitting those notes. Much of his background vocals get mistaken for instrumental or for JK. Jin in this song is just!!! JIN.. his voice especially here is so soothing and awesome.. I can listen to it over and over

they just started subbing their bangtan bombs, but you can look up the title of this one with (eng sub) and it'll pop up (btw you are right they were discussing the higher note and he changed it to have a fuller tone and rechecked the timing) also there's a piano version of Jungkook's euphoria and the behind the scenes of him recording some ad-libs and extra new details it seems like it happened the same day they were in a hotel back then 😂

I mean, I think ARMY would all love to see more of their recording process but these little clips are satisfying even as they are

i always connect to jin's voice in a way since very early days as army. His evolution aiming to become good vocalist really amaze me to the amt of work he need to be done like learning guitar , taking vocal lesson not to mention their tight schedule n practice session. Throughout the years, he grow up well n he's struggle at some point but nothing stop him instead pushing forward with lots of hard work. tonight is such beautiful melancholy song which is simple yet so emotional blasting hearing this song n appreciate such lovely meaningful song with the reminiscent good old time while moving forward to life for good.

Jin is terribly underrated in my opinion

I always drop a tear when I hear this song. Seokjin put so much feeling and love in this lyrics dedicated to his pets that I am very touched. I always remember when he did the Live almost crying and told us about Odengie's death. he loved the puppy and sugar gliders very much. RIP Jjanggu, Eomuk and Odeng.
