Gojira's the band that got me into metal. I went into it thinking metal was just a bunch of angry screaming about whatever violent stuff the vocalist felt like that day while the drummer randomly smashes the hell out of his kit. They were the ones who taught me metal could have a great deal of depth of feeling and meaning. Magma in particular is one of those albums that makes me feel things that are really hard to describe.

There are these circle pits that form and they toss an inflatable whale amongst themselves before the epic drop. Wow. Mind blowing. Mario Duplantier on the drums....I call him Super Mario. He's just amazing. Joe's vocals are incredible and the lyrics are absolutely spot on. I love their morals and their opinions mirror my own on these environmental topics.

There are metal bands that kind of sing and ones that just scream. I prefer it, with the screaming, if I can kind of comprehend the lyrics without going to the liner notes or googling. I can listen to either .

Hi Beth, could you do a reaction on Sara Tavares- Balancê She's an amazing artist and the way she sings is almost as if she's smiling with her voice. I think you'd like her

Not even watching it, just saw the "Old Man" with Neil Young video... try This Instead: Aoife O'Donovan - Jupiter [Live], "Sinnerman", Nina Simone and... hold on... oh... I Know... no... can't do that one... (voice is simply too good, hard to... find... "method of support that would enhance"), try this, just for fun, "Curious", The Innocence Mission. But! First two No Pause, No Comment until First Pass (and "Sinnerman" Will break you ) then slice and dice. lol... you have No idea... Best of luck.
