Funny fact - this song doesn't even belong to his best. It shows a part of his range (not a joke as it goes a lot lower and lot higher, over 6 octaves and thats only what he showed live on stage so far). He is a masterful storyteller with an impeccable technique with over 20 years of training that combines an incredible amount of singing styles. You just scratched the surface.

Great reaction to King Dimash Kudaibergen he’s the best singer in the Galaxy,yes not World Galaxy because is galactic, you bare scratch the surface of his infinite talent,he is able to sing a lot higher,lower and everything in between; Dimash is from Kazakhstan a country in Central Asia the used to be part of Russia,he’s fluent in Kazakh , Russian and has sang in 12 languages including English ( he still learning and has gotten so much better)This was he’s 2nd performance in I am Singer in 2017 , this is a Chinese singing competition so much better than your typical Got Talents or The Voice,first all singers are professionals mostly from China Dimash was invited as a Wildcard after winning several competitions. The show always has Live performance No playback,no auto tune,the audience votes for there favorites performances in a weekly basis,participants have different challenges each week like singing in another language they don’t speak and or a different style or genre of music. They are obstinate and well prepared. My question was necessary at this point. What made these people so close to him, and what does he have that other artists don't? He doesn't need paid advertising because his fans will do it for free. They genuinely love this artist so much that they want to make him known at all costs. Some claim he provides them to overcome depression, others say he has changed their lives with his music, some fans even believe he is an angel or a superhuman. If you send in that Michael Jackson had some diehard fans, Dimash fans, who call themselves Dears, are clearly above them all. As soon as I heard his voice, I was immediately impressed in 2017. No wonder his fans are obsessed, his voice is incredible and, at first glance, he also seemed like a very humble person. The 26-year-old Kazakhstan artist reached stardom for the first time after participating in some national competitions and spreading his fame abroad, taking second place in the Chinese program - I Am A Singer 2017-. In this show, he was the youngest participant to compete against established and professional Chinese artists. One of the songs I heard him sing was a popular "S.O.S d'un terrien en détresse". A French song by Daniel Balavoine. I was immediately impressed by his incredible technique and delivery. His vocal training is formally classic, but he can sing pop songs extremely well. Your choice of original songs and covers is never obvious and always leaves the listener in awe. What shocks me the most is the use of the vocal fry technique. He manages to hit super low notes and jump to highs so perfectly, without ever failing. Above all, the most impressive feature of his voice is the use of the "whistle". I think the choice to sing in your native language was anything but casual. I believe that one of his goals is to increase the popularity and recognition of his country. After gathering my thoughts, I realized that I was right about my assumptions. Your last Instagram post just mentioned: It is necessary to understand that I have become who I am now, mainly thanks to Kazakhstan. Because I grew up in Kazakhstan, I ate Kazakh dishes, I studied with a Kazakh vocal educator, I was raised in a Kazakh family. And the main stimulus that moves me is my nation and my country! After all, I think we have now answered my previous question. What made this artist so close to his fans? And what does he have that others don't? An incredible voice is not enough today. Social media has brought artists closer to their audience, who want to make sure that whoever is following is someone to relate to. Artists like Dimash tend to gain millions of followers around the world, not only for their talent, which is definitely the main reason, but also for their humility and the way they interact with others. When people feel closer to an artist, they tend to want to know more about him. This is just an appetizer. His abilities are only brushed in this performance. You should listen to S.O.S. from this same show, Singer 2017. It's usually the gateway song that introduces people to the world of Dimash Kudaibergen.

❤❤❤ Bravo. Fun reaction! If you watch this same performance a little longer after Dimash is done singing you will see a truly poignant moment between him and his dad. His dad surprised him by coming to this performance but stayed out of sight until after Dimash was done. Dad didn't want to make Dimash nervous. You will see Dimash catch a glimpse of his dad out of the corner of his eye and then they have a wonderful embrace when Dimash gets off the stage. He and his dad walk together backstage and Dimash asks his dad "Did i do ok?"

Our boy Dimash is a 6 octave + Kazakh wonder! Almost everyone who has ever heard him is a fan (a DEAR as he calls us). I think you are now a DEAR, too.

Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

Lovely reaction, and what a stage presence he has! If you look up the lyrics you'll be surprised how dark and scary they are.. His mixture of cheeky and sassy is perfect. The song was very popular in China 15-20 years back. It was performed by Vitas (Russian singer with lots of fans in PRC). That's why they react with smiles on their faces - they loved Vitas, loved the song, and now they love Dimash...

Nice first step into Dimashville. If you want to react to some more. SOS was before this on the same show, Singer. It is more of an introduction to his varied abilities as a singer, in French. Sinful Passion is more Popish, in Russian with some Dimash flourishes at the end. Love Is Like A Dream is more Popera, and Ogni Pietra is full on Operatic in Italian

@@JenniferGlatzhofer Dimash was in China competing in a show for professional singers and they brought his father from Kazakhstan to surprise him. This is one of the flirty/fun performances that Dimash has done. I’d consider Screaming also as one of his flirty songs too, although he had an online concert recently where he introduced a new song - Be with Me - that is super sexy! For more drama and range, you may wish to here Ogni Pietra and Sinful Passion. There is a lot to choose from Dimash.

*Love Is Like A Dream* Dimash Qudaibergen. Have da English subtitles on so you get what da lyrics is. A very beautiful song with a beautiful lyric.
