The pressures, the pain, judgement, constant attention, injuries etc. It delves into all of that. Those are not steam... they are small cans of oxygen and a mouth piece attached on top... there's another longer video where we can see after this Jimin told the staff to give the oxygen to Jungkook because JK was on the verge of fainting.

bts have said many times that they live for performing. concerts are when they’re actually the happiest. they love being on stage. as much as it takes a heavy toll on them mentally and physically it’s still something they love to do and push for. but they’re also very transparent and are not afraid to show both sides of everything. they know fans would worry but at the same time are always assuring us that this is the path they chose n will continue to walk on. u would think the pandemic would have been a great time for them to relax but they’ve just been working on music/performances since. they’re so passionate and hardworking. dynamite and BE came out solely bc they weren’t able to tour. and they’re still pumping out new music (collabs, mixtapes, albums) in their song dis-ease off the BE album they talked about how they’re so restless when resting and how their work ethic is almost a “disease”

I think these moments are just that and can easily be taken out of context. BTS talks all the time about how happy they are. These are just meant to remind people how hard it is to give their all during performances. And like no other artist, they show their vulnerabilities and the hard work. But I promise you, they live for the stage and their fans.

My reply was based on their reacting to a single comment taken out of context that was old at that. The mindset that these grown men are somehow micromanaged to the degree you describe is utterly absurd.

Im a dancer. I get exhausted after 30 minutes of dancing for a crowd even if its small. To think that they sing, and dance for hours, is just.. I get that they are very hard working people, but I'm worried that they are straining themselves too much. They even said that during the concert, they feel like their life expectancy is reducing

@@sammyss147 They have!!! I mean, if you compare their songs/performances recently with their early ones, it's definitely more lay back and chill nowadays. Dynamite and Butter are relatively easy to perform, in dance wise, even though the songs have high-pitch in it. And they even have "Life Goes On" too as the title track! BigHit and the guys know their situations, power and their own personal conditions. Since their power with ARMY is already massive now, they choose to have a break on having too much intense performances in an era/album (reminding you how they have "Idol" and "I'm Fine" in the same promotion time/era. Or, "No More Dream" and "We Are Bulletproof pt.2" in their debut time). Besides, they have desire to stay with their fans for as long as possible. They have already the power to be exist on their own term (nobody can disband them, unless they decide themselves. Not the gov, not the industry, not even their own agency), now they are practicing to stay fit and healthy... Having faith and wish them all the best :)

Big hit pushes them to have breaks and holidays. The boys are just so dedicated at what they do and love music and creating content so much that even their holidays can turn into a song but unlike other companies Big Hit really tries to push them to have breaks and focus on themselves. Another note: jungkook had said once that he is in BTS for the concerts. Loving seeing army even if it's fought on his body and physical stamina.

Because it is their life. They are performers, they live for that. Honestly I believe the happiness and positive feeling while performing and the kick you still have afterwards is sometimes bigger than the exhaustion. They deal with/endure the hardships in order to do what they love. They don't just perform for us but also for themselves. They release music to get a reaction and to help, but it is a whole different level standing on stage and see the faces lighting up because of their music in real life and not virtual. Do you know those moments when they stand (especially near the end) on the stage and just look at army singing and their beauty? Those really rare moments in life are magical moments, a split second moment where you realise how beautiful life is. Where all of a sudden the world makes so much sense and shows you why you are living. Those moments stand over the hardships. Those moments they have while looking at us/performing. I am sure there are times, where they question: Why am i doing this? I can't do this anymore. It is too hard. But those moments leave their mind because they stand on stage again and see with their own eyes a miracle happening. That is also why some of them had a hard time (burn-out phase) during the pandemic because they were alone with those thoughts and this time there wasn't the concerts to prove them otherwise. Again performing is their life. When Jimin says: I can't see myself ever stopping performing. I wanna do this till I am old even when I can't dance anymore and just can sit on a chair on stage making people smile, i want to do it. It shows how important army and perfoming is. After all it is their dream. (this got longer as I thought.....)

I could feel that love when I went to their concerts too. At first, back in 2017 when we first got a look behind the scenes of their concerts, we only saw all the exhausting and “scary” scenes. They didn’t rly mention their love for performing, so at that time I thought they just did it because they had to, but once more tours happened and as a result more behind the scenes were released, we were all able to realize just how much bts loves what they do. Only for celebrities like them do their careers take over their entire life in the same way. Doctors, mechanics, painters, whatever, they can live their lives without the influence of their careers when doing other things. But for bts, their career became their life. It influences so much, like who they can be friends with, when they can meet their family, what grocery store they can even go to, when they can date, if they can get married, and so much more. It’s only with this intense passion for what they do that they can push through all these other difficulties Hehe, I wrote a lot too:)

BTS practice very much. They set the practice time when they schedule, no matter how busy they are. Reporters say that when they contact BTS after they become famous, they are always in the practice room. I am so proud that I am ARMY

Jimin crying while getting his leg worked on because he was in so much pain; he even had to hold on do the therapist's are - oh my God😢!

Jimin has chronic muscle pain/tenseness in his shoulders and issues with his knee. The others probably have issues too, like Suga had shoulder surgery because of the car accident. They give it their all and feel disappointed if they don't try their best. It's really inspiring.

Thanku for appreciating BTS I want to tell the video didn't include how jungkook got the cut in heel and how he still perform. Also when a stage host fell on him and injured his shoulder but he still performed. Another 3-5 video how he exhausted n lost the breath. he kept saying not to film bcoz he didn't want to show this side to his fans.. there is many scene where jk hide his problems n stayed loyal to his fans n stage to give his best performance.. oh once he performed with high fever too on 2nd day.. this boy is incredible to show his love n passion to his work as well as fans. I'm an army n recalling all BTS struggle scenes specially jungkook's. I wish their fans keep loving them bcoz they really deserve it

Jimin was taking oxygen backstage...

I am pretty sure the item on Jimin’s face around 12:06 is canned oxygen.

A reporter shared, "He was behind the stage when they were performing at one of award ceremonies. BTS had done two or three songs before coming down from the stage. As soon they got off the stage, they needed help of portable respirators (oxygen cans) to catch their breaths. BTS burn themselves out completely when they’re on stage. They hold themselves together on stage, but when they come down, they let go and need respirators. BTS really do pour out everything they have on the stage, into the performance, to the point that they literally go out of breath. In his years of working in this field, he never seen anything like that. He was unable to grab any interviews with the members, because they were so completely exhausted and near passing out"!!!

I appreciate JK’s dedication & all his efforts to give his best just to satisfy all the fans. He’s a great performer!

BTS pushes true al the hardships for army. They don't want us to be worried or sad. They won't let it show that they are hurt or are in pain. I hope they will show it. They are also human they can get hurt and it's okay. If they are hurt they should get treatment and get rest. We should then be their for them because they are precious.

These guys are not just guys dancing and singing, they are a full on production. You will get a show you will never forget. Suga once mentioned that he cried due to the stress because of the venues getting bigger thinking this isn't what I wanted when I started. He just wanted to enjoy making music. There are ups and downs to everything and they have every right to feel all the emotions in the end they are just Human ❤

The fact that these videos exists proves that BTS don't hide their struggles, and that Army have seen these footages. It makes fans appreciate them even more. So it's untrue to say that BTS fans only see them when they are performing on stage.

3:30 - We do see the behind the scenes because BTS decided in 2017 that they wanted to show it to us thru the tour documentaries. That's why our attachment and bonds were formed harder or more loyal, because we always see how hard they work to give us great performances. They even tell us the mental states they're in when they're making a particular album, because they do live streams to talk to us (we get subtitles after 12 hrs of the live). That is how BTS and ARMY formed a bond, communication. And that's why new fans immediately stay loyal. Because they cam watch all the scenes behind, not just for the concert tours over the years but the music shows and video shootings too.

When you are an Army, you really know how hard is it for them...they share their hapiness and their difficulties with us... and that's why they have such a powerful fandom... Because we know all the sacrifices and efforts they have done (and still do!) to do such good musics and incredible performances...

I'm a classical dancer I only performs for 10-15 mins but still it's very hard like I feel like fainting so basically I mean bts performs like for 2 or 3 hours without even a single break They're really hard working , I love them so much 💜 I just feel hurt seeing them like this I just hope in future there would be breaks n all in between the concerts

They do! On the last tour they mainly performed on weekends and had all weekdays off with no concerts and at least one day for themselves

They do have breaks during the concerts, all the solos ,the others are having a rest and also when they are changing for the next part of the show the videos are playing.

Jimin is the one who never shows his pain and always hide Inside it !! He is most hardworking person !! That’s it 😭😭😭

BTS is happy! They do have struggles, but they share as much as they can of the behind the scenes. We, ARMY, do all we can to support them because we know how much they put into what they do. And the sacrifices that they're making. Our goal and wish is to take this journey with them and to help them be happy.

BTS have always tried to be transparent, be it their shows or their dark thoughts. We are grateful that they share with us what happens behind the scenes of these shows (it’s not all painful scenes like shown here btw, they also have so much fun and laughter), their views on their success, the pressure it entails, their love for each other and their love for their fans. They are so open to ARMY it makes us want to support them even more because we know they draw strength from us. They have at least 3 docuseries and at least 2 docu movies centered on their tours. BTS are born performers, they love the stage and the stage loves them. That’s why the postponement of tours last year hit them so hard. That is their life, concerts are the highlights of their year.

Jungkook just pushes himself really hard and keeps going to make us army happy but he needs to know, and other overprotective armies need to know, it’s okay if he takes a break.. his health is much more important than his career and I want him to be careful and take a break when he needs to, that goes for all the member too.

when I first learned about Yoongi's shoulder it genuinley broke me. The fact that he had to care more about his career than his health hurt me so much and he had to keep it a secret for so long.

The thing is, ARMY know just how much BTS give for us. We know how much they struggle and how hard they work. That's the reason why they have such a big fanbase bc they're genuine in everything they do.

ARMY has been with them from the beginning. We've seen them struggle and succeed. We are there for them.

BTS truly shows whatever they go through... They don't try to be these perfect god like beings.. they always remind us they are humans as well.. which is something I absolutely admire about them

This video shows the dedication of bts .They don't show this but now we are really shocked to see their dedication .... They are so unique and hard-working... So it is not easy to become an idol cus it takes a lot! 💜💜💜💜 #Respect

so a lot of these moments are cruel at its surface and they may seem like they're tired of it all here, but seriously, they cannot be doing this if they didn't absolutely thrive and live for the stage and performing. They all want to live and die performing, and they definitely love and appreciate their fans and want to give back the love they receive. To do that, they perform until they break.... it's cruel and heartbreaking, but it's also what makes them the happiest.

Let me say that I'm Army and we know this, we know all the suffering they went through to be where they are now, nothing was given away. And that is why we love them without measure, because we know what lies behind and all the love they show us with their effort. We take care of them and love them, it is a reciprocal love. They say that Army is aggressive and overprotective but this is why you see what we appreciate and value. Nobody but Army knows, yes it is very painful to see them like this. How not to love them if they gives us his own life? and back.

Seeing them like this makes me cry, they look so happy on stage while performing but only they know how much they go through rough times. They do hard work just for army’s. They really love us(army) so much💜✨ Truly

A lot of the downhill periods were between debut [2013] and I need you [2016] where they worked really hard but with little to show for it. ‘I need you’ was the beginning of their breakout, from then they just became more and more successful, but even so, the workload seems pretty insane.

BTS hardly ever show that they are exhausted on stage they give it all of their energy, but once they get off the stage they are really tired and are given Oxygen It was not a steamer it was oxygen, so they can catch their breath for the next performance. Doing a 3 hour concert every weekend in a new country is not easy. They sing, dance, rap for 3 hours straight I don't know how they do it, they truly are amazing. Touring takes a ton out of them since they do so many shows in so many countries and not only that they have other schedules as well such as interviews, magazine shoots etc.

Believe us. We love them more because of those Behind The Scene footages. Their hard work and sincerity truly transcend and makes us more proud of them. Their not afraid to show their strength and weaknesses.

These guys give it their all, every time, 110%. And even tho they are in pain or literally out of breath, they still say they love performing. I am happy the movies and series excist so we get to know what goes on behind the scenes, makes me respect them even more.

On fav thing about bts is how real and honest they have tried to be about there struggles as idols

im trying to watch this video without trying to cry as a fan of them, it hurts to see them in pain. but im so proud of them for making it this far with nothing at the start. really shows you how they are hardworking, talented, and super deserving of their success.

along with all the comments below that talk about how these moments are just reminders that they're human and they still love what they do, i'd just like to add that it's admirable that they are sharing all of these moments with us. (you said in the video we don't know about these moments but we clearly do since you are watching them hah). it really speaks of their characters and not wanting to sugarcoat too much like 99% of other artists. their striving for complete genuineness is what makes me proud to be a fan of theirs.

Actually it's because we see the behind the scenes and their struggle is why we love them even more than if we only saw the performance side of them. Any true army will tell you, we always worry about their physical and mental health. We know they always want to only show us the good and happy, but we know what they go through. So we love and support them even more because of it. They deserve everything they've achieved and we will always be here for them. **Watch Burn the stage: the movie - it shows behind the scenes of their wings tour.

True. Like I said in my other comment, this pandemic pause was probably a mixed blessing for them. At least they were able to take things a bit slower and gain some perspective on their path so far - it would have been a grueling tour schedule for them in 2020 for sure.

Its so heartbreaking that they’re behind stage icing, trying to get air, & water & we would never know. they put so much work into their craft for themselves & army :(

I love watching Justin. He’s so real.

BTS choose to do this to be clear. They live for performing and because they haven't been able to do that this past year, they've been suffering a lot of mental strain. Also those were portable oxygen containers, not steamers. They need oxygen after certain sections of the concert because they go so hard.

These seven guys are so amazing and all this just shows how much they put out there for everyone. They are so loved by a lot of people who want them to be/stay healthy. 💜

Their passion is why I love them. I have never found another individual or even another group that has ever done what BTS has and it makes them the greatest quite possibly ever. They do everything at 100% with singing, dancing, performing, writing, learning, each other, ARMY, etc

A lot of the army must have already seen this but everytime we see BTS like this or like any artist for that matter going through all this stuff it is heartbreaking but I really hope they get their time to kind of relax and clear their mind and also BTS has spoken about this in their recent interview with rolling stone so ya and thanks for the video Justin

What you here in this is very much edited like where namjoon said the happiest he have been after debute... and then it was cut off he said a whole lot after that. Maybe watch the actual documentaries. And we do see the behind the scenes and it is why we appreciate them as much as we do

What I love the most about BTS is that they're not afraid to show the ARMY the behind the scenes of this professional work. This doesn't happen overnight. There is nothing without hard-work and they show us that in their documentaries. It's giving an ideal, but realistic view of the incredible work they do. It's so real and I love them for it.

BTS have said they're happy now. They were having a really hard time around like 2018 and considered disbanding, too. They've gotten over that though and are stronger than ever. This is content from many years and some is taken out of context. The point is not that they're miserable, but that they have rough days too. You'll know if you watch all their other content and also these clips in context 😊

Justin as ur long time subscriber I would like to say that how much we would absolutely loveee if u watch more contents like these. Of course we love seeing u as a vocal coach reacting to songs but seeing some different content like these is also very much welcomed and loved 💜
