I love seeing Kelly get the attention she deserved. For some reason she flies under the radar and I'll never understand why. Kelly fans LOOOVE Kelly (myself included) but the rest of the world seems surprised when they hear how great she really is. Of course she's great..she's KELLY CLARKSON!!

KC doesn't like to self promote so she was really late to join social media and still doesn't do alot on it because she thinks it's vain :D She also isn't a diva - genuinely loves singing...and loves to share with others.

The way Ariana looks at Kelly and bounces while she sings 8:50 is so endearing, cute and wholesome I can't...🥺

Kelly just did a live version of this by herself on The Voice! You should watch Kelly’s Christmas special. She’s amazing! I think Kelly and Ariana together are pure magic!

This was the first time they had sung it in the same room. You can feel the energy from both of them and the entire orchestra and background vocalists. It's electric.

i was gonna comment that it seems like ariana and kelly just walked in and sang perfectly and left because they are so professional and then i found out that they literally didn’t need to rehearse. amazing

it always cracks me up when people watch kelly clarkson sing something live and end up like 🤯🤯🤯 she's a vocal beast but she's super lowkey about it and it takes watching her live to really get it. it's why she and her team on the voice doing john legend's "u move i move" lives in my head rent free lol.

I really think Kelly is so underrated, she's easily one of the best singers of our generation, and she's extremely versatile, she sings whatever she wants and she nails it.

Yass! Kelly is the Freddie Mercury of today. Always improving; always learning and self bettering her technique! You can't convince me otherwise. She's quite literally the one celebrity I would die to meet!

Also, I recently watched all of Kelly's American Idol performances and this girl blows my mind. The power she has is literally so easy for her like what

Kelly just has a natural powerhouse of a voice I think, but her classical training certainly gave her a foundation to build on. She’s talked about how she struggled a bit (in the early early days) finding her pop/rock voice. I love watching her warm ups and her coaching of other singers. I would absolutely love for her to have a show of her own working with singers. It’s annoying to say she’s “underrated” because I don’t think she is, I think anyone who knows what it takes to be a great singer knows Kelly is one of the best in the business, but I do think it’s precisely because she makes it seem so effortless and she isn’t all about the vocal tricks and fireworks that she doesn’t get on the radar of the social media vocal sorts as much as the Ariana’s, etc. There is nothing she can’t sing. I think her Kellyoke has more than proven that point by now. I love her and Ari together. They compliment one another so well and they seem to have a natural chemistry and ease with one another’s styles and voices. It never ever feels like a battle of the belters, they genuinely make on another sound gorgeous. Oh, also, the backing vocals are soooo good on this. They’re impeccable. Backing vocals don’t get the love they deserve for making the star sound even better by adding that “oomph” to the notes where it makes the sound just that much juicier. And most of the time the listening audience doesn’t even notice it.

This is one of the best vocally performed duet of all times by two of the greatest powerhouses of all times! It's just mind-blowing!

Kelly pushes Ariana to be a better vocalist anytime they perform together her vocal technique is SO MUCH better.

A lot of people make a big deal about the fact that they didn’t rehearse before this… And that is impressive, but you have to remember that that they actually had already recorded the song in the studio, and it was released as a single before this performance. So it’s not like they had no practice with this song at all. That being said, for this performance to be as flawless as it was without a rehearsal was still impressive.

I get what you’re saying but even still it’s ideal to practice to make sure they are in sync so imo it is impressive they didn’t rehearse and was in sync and sounded good

I'm not sure if this is accurate or not, but I heard this is the first time that they have sang this together as they each recorded their parts separately in the studio. So that and yeah, no practice... incredible.

it’s a duet which makes it so much harder to do with no rehearsal. they most likely didn’t record it in the studio together

I’ve been a HUGE Kelly Clarkson fan since American Idol. Ariana Grande is in a category all her own. The two together are phenomenal and by the way shows that Clarkson can hang with the best of the best.

What I love about this: You can see how much fun they’re having singing together. They’re killing those harmonies because they both intrinsically understand *how* to harmonize in a melodic sense (not just how to memorize a specific harmony for a song, which we see plenty of). They’re also each making small modifications to their own vocal styles as they harmonize to make their voices blend sonically as well as melodically. So good.

I had a hard time believing this was live when I first listened. Back then the live version wasnt available on spotify, so I only realised this was live LIVE when I listened to the studio version again and saw it was different. They all absolutely killed it!!! I love how gentle they are with each other - even the editing is amazing, giving the band and backing vocals some awesome shots, as one should do! Now that the live version is up on Spotify I only listen to that one :) I love how they all seem so happy to exange this experience

I've been entranced this Christmas season listening to it on repeat, she gives such a beautiful, emotional performance.
