"Technical-wise" Mamamoo is the best vocal group in kpop so far imo. Of course if you look individually for each person in different groups, there are also some great singers that maybe come close or even better than Mamamoo. But the harmonies that they've put together is so unbelievably good and fit each other tone. Mostly in kpop group, you'll most likely have different role such as main/lead vocalist, main/lead rapper, main/lead dancer. They all can still sing but not as good as the main vocalist or not really expertise in vocals. But it's a different case with Mamamoo since all of them are equally strong vocalist and all can be a rapper as well.

This is so true. Not trying to bring other groups down tho, but when I first heard of mamamoo, I was imagining one or two girls being good at singing, one rapping and another one will be just there for the visual or whatever, like the typical korean girl groups. But when I heard them singing, I was instantly hooked. They're so far the best combination. Then I tried listening to Twice's songs because I'm a fan of 2nd gen GGs and am trying to find more groups to stan. I was kind of disappointed. Not as good as I expected, maybe because Mamamoo has set such a high standard for me.

@@meowing1109 I was a Once for so long and then found Mamamoo and everything changed for me. I still Stan Jihyo but my babies in Mamamoo are so unique, strong, talented and confident. There is no comparison and as a woman in my 30s I identify so strongly with their messages and concepts that I don't think I can ever go back. Twice has some serious talent but they didn't grab onto me the way these girls and their Moomoos do.

This isn’t even their best Immortal Songs performance. Or even the breadth of what they can do vocally. As amazing as it is it’s also early in their careers and their vocals have grown so much. Their harmonies are just so beautiful. I would recommend their Immortal Songs performances of Love Story of a Girl, Way To Sampo and Backwoods There is also a great video titled Mamamoo Live vs In The Studio that is brilliant

Mamamoo (you pronounced it correctly) are considered a kpop group with very strong vocals. Probably one of the best vocal kpop group currently. I hope to see you react/comment to more of their songs

@@jvoxfox yay! They are actually invited to this show for 13 (performances) times and won 3 times! Mamamoo competed with senior/ well known vocalists. My favorite Immortal Song performance of them is "Dance with the rhythm" and "Wonderful Confessions". Pls check it out as well.

Yass! My favourite girl group Mamamoo! Delilah is an old performance and, even if they were good then, they improved so much and they are AMAZING now. Please react to Backwoods or Love story of a girl from them next!❤️ Or, if you want something recent, I miss you from Queendom or Destiny.

About the name: "It signifies the sound that babies make. 'MAMA' means mother. So it means that we want to approach our listeners organically and instinctively with our music." Coincidentally, "MOO" also means "radish". This gets relevant if you get into fandom. :P

You've just stumbled on some of the best vocals in kpop. Mamamoo is, IMO, simply amazing. Each member has their own unique vocal style and each can stand on their own, but when you put them together we get, well, you just saw it for yourself. As for their name; They've explained that their name is meant to be similar to something a baby would say. The meaning behind it is that they always want to be learning and improving as time goes on, much like a baby would do as it grows. Let's see, what else? Ah, their fandom name is "Moomoos", aka Radishes because the Korean word for radish sound like moo. They are super versatile. They can sing just about any genre from jazzy swingtime (as seen in their earlier videos) to modern pop. Some of their songs have a Latin flare and others are simply fun summer bops. Their management agency was been quoted as saying that they were very fortunate when they put these 4 women together because the result was a group consisting of 4 great vocalists, 4 great dancers and 4 great rappers. On a side note: I had to laugh at "There is harmonies?!" because during interviews and such they literally introduce themselves in 4 part harmony. For another group with some amazing vocalists, you might want to check out another girl kpop group called Red Velvet. Start with their latest MV, Psycho, and go from there. Another group with amazing vocalists is Dreamcatcher. Their title tracks are mostly rock based and might not be the best option for assessing their true vocal talents, but their b-sides, covers and solo work are top notch.

Delilah is a classic. I prefer Passion Flower myself, as far as individual Immortal Songs performances go. I could recommend their Immortal Songs Medley but if it's possible, it would be great if you do watch the individual performances. They are quite good. The medley was very strong. It was more recent so they had gained a lot of experience. Mamamoo is specialized in performance and are known for their chemistry and harmonies. Before I forget. Solar, the leader of Mamamoo has a YT channel and has some videos where she covers song acapella. Her channel is called, Solarsido. She's done Sia's Snowman (a classic bathroom cover lol), some disney song covers, etc. I highly recommend if you want to react to it or watch on your free time :)) Have a nice day. My favorite things about vocal professionals reacting to Mamamoo is seeing them fall in love with each unique flavor that the girls bring to the table. I love Mamamoo! Their vocals are amazing and this performance was when they were still rookies in 2015! They have so many great songs that it's hard to pick one to recommend. Since this was an immortal song, I'll recommend Wonderful Confessions and Destiny (Queendom).

Hwasa - the girl who was first responsible for vocals and rap in the group. Unfortunately, in recent comebacks, she rarely rapped. She can also take high notes (there is a wonderful performance Sleep Talk), as the Solar and Wheein. The second rapper- Moonbyul passed the audition as a vocalist but trained as a rapper because 3 vocalists in a group of 4 people is enough. However, there are several performances where she sings exactly. One of them is Ten Nights, at first, she was afraid to answer for the high notes, but the members convinced her to do it.

Mamamoo are well known in Korea for their vocals, they set themselves apart for other female Idol groups. The husky singer is Hwasa and she actually has a very wide range, but she often uses her lower register in because higher notes are more comfortable for the other girls. The all have a good range though, the rapper is also a great singer, she has a very unique tone.

The vocal queens! They even introduce themselves in harmony lol

They all so good in harmonising their voice since trainees and wht more funnier is they just play around but turns out they are great in it, that is their best trait ever in kpop industry

Oh definitely check out their performance of "I Miss You" on Queendom. Its beautiful!

MAMAMOO are one of the best vocalists that I've seen in any artist I've come across of.... They have such a diverse range and they're not afraid to experience with sounds when it comes to their music, performances and especially raps. They're one of the greatest. I feel bad for people that haven't been introduced to them and their artistry.

Mamamoo are the queens of vocals. They can all sing lead and can all rap. Absolutely my favorite group. Road To Sampo is my favorite of their performances on this show.

Better to go to the individual IS2 performances; the medley doesn't have all of the great moments of all the songs.

All moos (their fans) will agree about what you said on harmonising. Mamamoo actually has a practice video of one of their performances on this show. They made it look easy to do, but aside from individual practices of their lines, they also practice harmonising for days.

I'm glad you chose to react to MAMAMOO. They are indeed very different from other typical kpop groups. All of them can SING SING. Each of their voices are unique and has their own color . They are all rounder too- singing, dancing, composing, producing, know how to enjoy performing on stage and interact with audiences. They even won Best Live Performance Award last year because their live is really the BEST! It's gonna blow your mind! P/S: They even harmonizing in their introduction .

Great reaction. Normally I'd recommend when pausing to rewind 10 seconds (something I really liked another reactor do), but your remarks are very short and somehow you time them very well. I'd like a reaction to their MV's for Pianoman, Egotistic and more of their live stuff. I'm thinking about Solar's solo stage (or at least Desposito if don't want long videos). As someone who has fallen deep into the blackhole of radish kingdom while also being really, really interested in the singing aspect of Mamamoo, I'm really glad that I found your reaction to them. I'm not all that much of good with technical terms but I'm always fascinated by how they are all unique and have different characters of voice that complement each other. Anyway, while we're on this, the rapper girl (her name is Moonbyul btw) is releasing new solo song today and she is singing!!
