Diana suffered unbelievable abuse as a child. She was found wondering in the snow with a broken rib. I think she was the only surviving child, all the others died. She was adopted from an orphanage and didn't speak until after she was 5. Singing helped find her voice and she adores her adopted mother. For me, her voice is like the primordial cry, the vibrations almost like throat singing at times, vibrate down through your soul. Your description of being wrapped in velvet was great. Her voice is like no other and I hope for her all goodness.

Liz Rach goes without saying: thumbs as low as they go for abuse that leaves someone in that place. Unbelievable she is where she is giving what she is giving. Obviously an older performance, but more enjoyable with every subsequent performance. This quality of voice taps into something before my ancestors. To me it’s the opposite of otherworldly. Is “primal-pop” a genre?

I don't think that the girl went for a walk herself, her drunk mother simply abandoned her child or lost her. She almost killed her! It's a miracle that Diana survived. And yes, she really had big problems with speech until the pediatrician recommended visiting a vocal coach to correct her speech.

This is a Russian children's vocal competition, similar to "the Voice".It is forbidden to use voice auto-tune and any settings! There is only live sound! Diana has a deep voice and a wide vocal range!

@@yugiohlegend Her real voice is really very good. You can find live performances online. Diana said that she herself did not know that effects on the voice would be added. This is entirely on the conscience of the contest organizers.

It’s not processing. Her range reaches quite low but on top of that she’s able to lower her larynx to an unusual extent - you can hear it in the change of timbre from her more natural tone. You hear her doing it in other performances.

Diana had a rough start in life. Her alcoholic mother did not want her and abused and neglected her. She was abandoned at 3 years old. A relative found her and took her to an orphanage. A worker at the orphanage adopted her, and because she could not speak, sent her to a vocal teacher where she was taught to sing, so she could learn to speak. Now look at her!!! She is 15 years old at this competition for orphaned children. She won the competition two years in a row. The competition is called 'You are Super'. She is from eastern Russia, but now lives in Moscow, thanks to Igor (bald judge).

I almost choked on my own saliva when you said 'if you're looking to tap into the unlimited potential of your voice'. Um... that's very nice of you to suggest that it has unlimited potential but in reality my singing is not something I'd inflict on my worst enemy. There's a reason why I only sing to myself and I usually have back up noise or KZread to drown my actual voice out. I don't want to make my ears bleed.

This is a talent show. There is no autotuned. That is Diana Voice. “Diana Ankudinova, A Russian National Treasure”, I have been following her for awhile. She is another very interesting story that you will discover.. Wait until you hear "Human" or "Rechenka" Even though it is in Russian you still feel the emotion behind it. I've heard her sing in Russian, English, French and Spanish so far. No matter what language it is beautiful. Her Russian fans are the BEST!

I agree she is one of several unique prodigy child who added to the voice gift given from birth huge efforts and time. But why she is not shining at stage now? Why she goes crowding to collect money for new album release? No-one cares about this talent to support her?

Stop the hysterics. The scandal described by you on The Voice Kids occurred in 2019. The results were revised almost immediately - you should have said so. Diana did not participate in this competition. She participated in The Voice Kids only in 2017. Material lernen und zai gesund!

I think the riffs are reflective of the cultural music from her country of origin. She definitely has Indigenous traits in her physical appearance similar to the Inuvialuit of Canadas Arctic. Story telling has various dynamics to it also.

Добра вам. Вы правы. Я тоже родился и вырос в Сибири. Я знаю много людей с внешностью как у Дианы. У Дианы не чистая славянская кровь. Она рождена в Приморье. Это самый Дальний Восток России. Коренное население здесь называют остяки. От слова ость - базис. Эти народы по внешнему виду и по генетике сходны с Северо-Американскими коренными жителями. Диана выросла в приемной семье. Ее родная мать была алкоголичка и вела неправильный образ жизни. Из 12 беременностей выжила лишь Диана. Кто отец Дианы не знает никто. Возможно он представитель северо-восточных народов России. Ее в 3 года забрали у матери, она росла в детском доме до 4,5 лет. Позже ее усыновила медицинская сестра детского санатория. Это со слов Дианы и ее нынешней Матери из интервью. Диана считает себя русской так как выросла в русской среде. Что касается особенности подачи материала в драматическом ключе, это объясняется нашей особенностью к драматизации любой музыки вообще. Считается, что это особенность национальной русской культуры. И если вы нашли нечто общее с канадскими индейцами, то возможно их духовная составляющая в творчестве так же культивируется. I'd highly suggest another song of hers, from the same show but one year prior when Diana was 14 years old: 'Rechenka' It's a russian folk song about on orphan girl who was going to marry, but due to a lack of family (and friends) there was no one to see her off (an ancient east slavic tradition before a wedding, somewhere between mourning for the loss of a daughter and celebration for the beginning of a new life as a wife. Or smth like that). So, she goes to a river ('rechenka' in russian language) in the forest, where she pleads to her 'friends' (the river, trees, animals, spirits, ect) to take the role of family and friends. She herself completely becomes the character of the girl in that performance (she is a natural performer on stage), to the point that even the judges were so mezmerized they seemed to have forgotten that they had to press their buttons and totally jumped at it, when they thought the song was over.

Diana was 13 or 14 when she sang in this competition. It was a singing competition for 'underprivileged children' and Diana was abused and left an orphan at an early age. A family took her in and she started singing lessons to overcome her shyness. She is a true contralto, but is working on her higher notes. The world famous Igor Krutoy became interested in her talent. I believe she is now 17. This is quite an introduction to Diana, and great reaction from you. Thanks. (Patricia, Jerry's wife)

Like others say below .. yes .. this is her voice, not auto-tuned .. at .. least by machines. She normally can sing higher .. she is using vocal techniques to do this very low sound (people speak of a "frog voice" .. singing on a yawn and so on). She was 15 on this show (for children orphaned etc). Igor Krutoy was so impressed by her that he/his organization purchased her an apartment in Moscow so she could go to school. Very nice reaction Ken, great choice.. Sound is live and unaltered, this is a Russian talent show for kids/teens mainly with difficult background. Diana had a rough childhood but started singing quite early and took vocal lessons from the start, hence the technic that befits a far more seasoned performer. And genes ofc.. Diana has a "black belt" in vocals! This is a vocal contest of the Russian NTV channel for children with a difficult fate. The competition is called "You are super!". Diana won it at age 14. This year, the channel announced the Super Season of the contest, she participated in it for the second time and won the Grand Prix. On this talent show, there is always only the live sound of singers! No tuning, no recording, only a lively voice - this is a condition of the competition.

She is a true contralto, who when she entered her teen years, lost some of her upper register due her voice deepening. She has been working with a great vocal coach and has gotten it back, and has tremendous range. It is a tv show - the voice kind, for non privilaged children. No autotune, this is her real voice, just turned 17 and she is working on her high notes with great results. She seems to have been blessed with genes which have produced a brilliant and unique vocal capability, an ear for figuring out what tiny changes to technique work, a tragically painful childhood which gives her genuine emotional depth, years of acting and musical theatre to present a great stage presence and the tenacity and opportunity to hone her craft. I believe she turned 16 years old last week. She really is a freak in the best possible way. Oh and she has managed to learn to sing in English and French with a better than passably good accent. She yodels too. Her versions of Rechenka and Demiere Danse are amazing and are probably going to be the most requested after this. In Rechenka she summons some force of nature and connects with the Earth. Demiere Danse is just so full of emotional charge, pain, joy and anger. Both songs are technical rollercoaster rides which some new vocal twist and surprise every 10 or 15 seconds yet made to hang together.

For a reaction this seems to be up your street and has been covered by a few other reaction channels. Floor Jansen & Henk Poort - Phantom Of The Opera kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqB3tcWjpqe1erA.html Henk sings in musical theatre anyway, including Phantom. Floor is the singer in the metal band Nightwish, but has lots of training behind her. The format is a little odd. A TV series performed in front of a handful of other musicians, each there to cover one another's songs as I understand it.

No processing, autotune, or other filters... She is just that incredible

Yes this is her true voice you should listen to her rendition of (Human) yes she is a contralto, but also can sing high. She can also completely change her voice and sing anything she wants she also has an original song out. @@ElenaMatveeva777 Я знаю ее)) Там похоже действительно диагноз.Она уже больше года носится со своим бредом.Все уже ее или посылают или игнорят,а она все строчит и строчит в непонятной надежде,а результата ноль.Вот разве нормальный человек так будет делать? Ресурс у Дианы уже огромный и оочень положительный,и вот видеть все это каждый день и все равно пытаться проталкивать свой бред,это за гранью здоровой психики.
