right. its a pretty difficult song to sing when you just finished singing + dancing hardcore to other songs. like its so easy to see that theyre not in the best condition in this one hdhddh

I believe V has the widest vocal range. His solo "Stigma" really shows off his range (check out the lyric video), and also his "Singularity" MV is excellent.

pambarab Yes! V does have the widest vocal range out of the members. He is able to hit low notes (because of his deep voice people believe him to be a baritone) but is able to hit high notes as well, though he hasn’t been given vocal lessons for high notes, so it’s hard to stabilize the high notes. He’s able to hit them but people degrade him for not having much stability in sustaining it. I hope big hit will give V voice lessons to help with his wide range so then he can really be a good singer.

Jessica Pot they all actually have quite the high range not just V, like we see Jungkook in Fake Love, we was able to sing low and deep yet also hit the high notes. Jin also is the same, and same goes for Jimin for some songs, The difference is V has a soulful voice, Jin mostly has a nasally type sound, Jimin is more heady and Jungkook is airy, so with those mixed, they make a really amazing sound.

I actually really love the lyrics of HoC bc it actually holds a double meaning. It can be passed off as a break-up/love song about a relationship that is fragile and you can tell it will fall apart (like a HoC ;) ), but you stay in it anyway bc you can’t bear to let the other person go. OR it is a song about BTS’s relationship w their fame and their fans. BTS, and to a smaller part, ARMY, have built fame their success and their fame to an astronomical level they never dreamed of, and very quickly. The heights they’ve risen to are amazing - but the speed of it and the height of it makes it all seem very flimsy and ephemeral. Like it could all come crashing down at any second. So they ask ARMY and each other to please stick together til the end. Whether this high lasts for years or if the rug is ripped out from under them tomorrow. BTS has talked about this anxiety in other songs as well, most notably their hidden track “Sea” on the Love Yourself: Her album. In that song they talked about how succeeding and achieving their dreams seemed like a mirage in the desert for years (BTS faced a lot of pushback and criticism for years in SK - their meteoric rise to years and is a fairly recent phenomenon, and they’re much more popular abroad than in SK, and much of the SK music industry neglected them if not outright mistreated them until recently when their internat’l fame became too big to ignore). “Sea” is about how this desert suddenly became not just an oasis but an OCEAN and they’re so happy and grateful...but also terrified this ocean will turn just as quickly back into a desert as suddenly as their desert became a sea. So far, you’ve listened to BTS love songs, which are beautiful in their own right, but BTS lyrics are ALWAYS meaningful and very often than not speak about more than just radio friendly love songs.

And an "ARMY bomb" is the lightstick design that this group's fandom (called ARMY) uses in their concerts. In South Korea, it is common that not only does a fandom have a name, but they also have their own lightsticks to use at concerts and often their own color, a fandom color. Since there are only so many colors and there are 100s of idol groups the later fandoms don't always have a specific color anymore. It's about trying to escape from a house of cards that is tumbling down from all the pressure and problems

Honestly, this wasn't the BEST performance of House Of Cards but it still good though. Jungkook, out of all the singers, tends to have the most stable voice live especially when singing and dancing at the same time, it's like he ate the cd, which is why for that reason he also has the more lines in songs and is often at the center of dance formations, well he's the main vocal. He has control over his voice and know what to do with his range. Hoping to see you reacting to his covers, he has a lot.

I'm not too sure what to the song is exactly about but the phrase "house of cards" itself is a *metaphor pertaining to something of a fragile or volatile nature* And because of this, I think a lot of people have interpreted that the song is about the fragile career that K-pop idols have and how it can easily 'collapse', in a sense. *The chorus, in English, is:* A house made of cards, and us inside Even if you say you see the end, even if you say it’ll collapse soon A house made of cards, and stupidly, us Even if you say it’s a useless dream, just stay a little more like this

I interpret it as a relationship rather than the k-pop industry. It a relationship that is falling apart, a toxic relationship even. And the singer is trying to string this fragile relationship together and trying to not make it crumble and fall apart, not wanting the carefully, fragile, yet 'beautiful' structure to fall. Oof, this is my personal interpretation. It doesn't have to be an romantic relationship tho, it could also place it in part of a friendship I guess too.

Do a reaction to V’s solo/intro in the album “Love Yourself: Tear”. The name of the song is Singularity, and it showcases V’s ability in a lower vocal range.

You should hear V’s growl, too! 🐯 (I wish you saw a different live version of this. But it’s still good.)

Please listen to - BTS "Hold Me Tight" eng sub Live HYYH Concert - It features all 7 members. This live performance has the most amazingly outstanding vocals from all 7 members which include the 3 rappers! Also the reason they may have looked a bit disheveled and sweaty in the performance you just saw is that many of their songs have choreography and they dance while singing. They did this song towards the end of their over 2 hour show. They had a series of albums in 2015. 2016, titled The Most Beutiful Moment in Life Parts 1 and 2 and the Wings studio Album, re-released as 'You will never walk alone' which included Spring Day, I think. Other notable tracks from this era include: Run, Not today, Save me, Fire. these all have music videos. One of these albums, was Album of the year at the 2016 Melon Music awards.

In the last request I mentioned BTS "House of Cards" with just the 4 vocalists but I also requested BTS "Hold Me Tight" which are with all 7 members and the vocals are absolutely amazing as well. You might have gotten them confused! I listed both songs to give you the option of seeing all the members including the 3 rappers with Hold Me Tight". Many people also like Let Me Know as well but for me I believe Hold me Tight is a more dynamic powerful song that shows off all their vocal so much more so as well as that absolutely amazing high note of JImin's toward the end although Jimin also sings an absolutely breathtaking high note in Let Me Know as well but otherwise it's a more low key performance in general. You also must see some of their songs that has many times rather difficult strenuous choreo and they dance while singing live (never lip syncing) as well.

A good song with 7 members for a vocal coach is Dont Leave Me, Let Go, Crystal Snow, Spring Day. The other three members are rappers (Cyphers 1-4, Outro Tear, Ddaeng are songs with just the rappers- also all the rappers have individual mixtapes released) They are amazing as well. The sign in the back says "Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa" translated: most beautiful moment in life. Those bobbles are BTS official lightstick for their fans. And I have no idea about the details of their vocal training. Lastly the entirety of BTS discography is translated to English on lyric videos across youtube. All official MVs have English subs as well.

V's voice always serving. He has the widest vocal range in the group and his tone is sooo unique

i'd be curious to see your reaction to Tae (V)'s two solor songs "serendipity" and "stigma" since I feel like he has a large amount of range and vocal control (ok they all do) tae's voice is just really unique and his natural vocal range is fairly low but he has a head voice and falsetto too.

That is the point I am making, the rappers are actually singing. They are highly expressive with their voices, especially the addlibs and embellishments. Agust D's rap vocal performance in Tony montana is a very good example here (and then Jimin raps over the top of Suga) I also like almost guttereral vocal singing (like growling) of Jimin in their 2017 Memories performance live set of We are Bullet Proof Parts 1 and 2.

A lot of kpop singers are tenors... I'm not really sure why that's the case but normally the companies that produces kpop groups would prefer male vocals that have a higher voice while singing..

A tenor voice is the most uncommon voice for males but companies tend to prefer that cause, as some people said, it’s harder to make a catch beat with lower voices. And, if you notice, V isn’t a tenor, he is actually a kind of Baritone. If they made the songs more suited to his voice, V would me the most stable member in the group but all the other 3 are tenors so he tends to sing a little higher than his comfortable range so his voice fails.

Actually 2 of the 4 singers had no background in singing whatsoever before joining the band which never fails to amaze me. They clearly work really hard and are always trying to improve. The group has 7 members (4 vocalists and 3 rappers) but they release only vocalists or only rappers songs sometimes and they also release solo work all of this inside the band. Ex: on their albums the intro song is always done by just one member, they'll always have a song by just the vocalists and one song by just the rappers along with all of the other songs with all of them together. The lightsticks are called ARMY BOMBS as ARMY is the name of our fandom and just about everyone owns one. As far as high notes I have wondered myself. There are 4 singers and 3 rappers (who can sing also) this song was just the singers. As they have grown, they seem to be able to sing higher and higher notes, just an observation.

The entire group was on a show called ' American Hustle Life' in LA, USA ( their first time in America) where they learned to sing. They also learned to dance and rap, and the others improved their dancing & rapping... along with other things they were taught as well. These four you see were taught how to sing by a famous 'black' church woman ( sorry, but I forgot her name) - who taught singing lessons to others and even performed for President Obama. She taught them how to hit certain notes, how to breath to maintain it, etc. She taught them breathing lessons to be able to dance and sing at the same time successfully. They practiced very hard and they got better and better and to this day, they still practice those breathing techniques so they can sing and dance at the same time without getting overly tired. They listen to different music but mostly R&B, Rap, Pop and some Rock, which is what K-pop is. If you notice, practically all kpop groups (both male and female ) will rap & sing... You should look up more information on BTS. There's tons, too much for me to mention right now. Just a suggestion, if you're going to speak about their techniques etc, it would be better to pause the video, (please not too much) or talk after it ends. I hope this helps.

Jungkook wasn't a singer from the start, he just had a good voice since birth haha but he wasn't ambitious about singing, he actually wanted to become a dancer as he said in Burn The Stage he didn't knew he'd become the main vocalist :)

I'm Korean American - check out "Pansori" it's a type of storytelling style traditional folk singing. There's a lot of power and emotion behind it. There's a lot of longing, sorrow, melancholy in Korean music. Korean history is full of a lot of pain so there's a lot of soul in the singing and music.

There are 7 members, but 4 of them are singers and 3 are rappers (thought sometimes the rappers sing: RM, JHope or the singers rap: JK, Jimin). Please react to "Love is not over" it's one of my favs, but no one is reacting to it :( . I also recommend dead leaves, rain and tomorrow. Maybe those songs aren't that popular, but they're really good. PS there's lots of lyrics videos on yt with translations (for exaple search: Dead Leaves BTS lyrics). The background shows the name of the theme of their album , a rough translation of But the literal meaning is like which is an idiom of "the pinnacle years of your life" (history is the reason why they have Chinese idioms in Korea & Japan). They did talk about how it was inspired from a film with the same name but depicted with a different translation .

You just got a new subscriber! The sign in the back says "The most beautiful moment in life". BTS's vocal members are so good at singing bc they're very hard working and always strive to be better. It's different in the K-Pop industry, you go to auditions, get selected as a trainee and usually train at least 2 years. Once the company belives you're ready, they put you in a band and you continue to train but you're also with the people from your band, eventually, you hopefully debut. Quick note, BTS are from a small company and they're the only band. There are a lot of reasons why BTS aren't like normal K-Pop groups but I'll only state a few. Their company let's them write and produce their own music that deal with controversial things like suicide, mental illness, political corruption, learning to lover yourself, etc. BTS are also very humble bc when they were trainees, all 7 of them slept in one room, and struggled to eat. The company couldn't afford big expenses so they used their staff's cars for music videos, they wore the expensive clothes that ARMY gave them bc they couldn't afford it themselves (they still wear ARMY's gifts). Recently, they made a statement telling ARMY that they wouldn't be excepting gifts anymore bc they can buy stuff for themselves and would rather have us spending that money on ourselves or for charity (they still except all fan mail tho). Even tho BTS are now rich and famous, they continue to stay humble and get excited over a free ramen meal. BTS and ARMY, are family who will love each other no matter what. As you can see, there are quite a lot of reasons that ARMY love them but I don't have all day to list them, So I'll move on. The "light bulbs" in the crowd are ARMY Bombs. BTS's fandom name is ARMY, and they have a lightstick that look looks like a bomb and it has different light modes. You should check out some live performances like Let Me Know, Hold Me Tight, Crystal Snow, Don't Leave Me, Best of Me, etc. BTS sing in Korean, Japanese, and sometimes Chinese. The members also do covers or songs that aren't on albums (for the fans) like Jungkook's cover of If You (look up the lyric vid for it please), RM & Jungkook's song I Know, or RM & V's song 4 O'Clock. There are way more but I don't want to overload you when you're just getting into them. The rappers also have their mixtapes and solo songs (where it's just the rappers, just like this was just the singers) but since you're a vocal coach I don't know how much you'd enjoy the rapping. If you do enjoy rap, you should definitely check them out!

Yes. They're 4 vocalists and 3 rappers and they're all amazing!❤️ You should read the eng sub, because this song comes down differently to everyone. chlozye he has been but he had an even bigger problem to overcome than any of them, he was so shy he was scared to sing in front of people. He almost didn't debate because of that.

Yes, I think it is a stronger vocal performance for Jin here than his previous solo Awake from Wings tour, which means he is maturing as a performer. The emotional messaging/story telling of tge LY series of Albums is producing some great songs and artistry.

The fact that this is full live is shooking

I think they sing so well because of how much effort and practice they put into each of their songs and performances. Not only are they amazing singers, they are also amazing dancers and rappers which show how hard they work to become who they are today. All the members have their own style and voices and each are very unique. Because of this, it is so easy to fall in love with them. Although my bias is jungkook, I love all the members because of the different things they are able to contribute and bring to BTS. For example, V has a very deep voice that is so easy to distinguish because of how different and beautiful it sounds. I would recommend reacting to his song ‘Stigma’ because it really brings out his natural voice and the song also has a very mellow and relaxing vibe to it. Jungkook has a very husky voice that can sound very soothing and memorable to people who listen to him sing. I would recommend listening to ‘Begin’ but feel as though it doesn’t showcase his voice as well because most of the song consists of more and EDM vibe because he dances a lot to it. Maybe search up ‘Jungkook on Masked singer’ to listen to his cover of the song ‘If you’ by Big Bang( this is a variety show that basically showcases a persons voice without showing who the person is, so he will be wearing a mask). I absolutely love Jimin’s ‘Lie’ and Jin’s ‘Awake’ because it displays their higher voice ranges. I hope you are able to watch and listen to all this music. BTS IS AMAZING❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been binging your reactions to bts and i must say, i really love it! Thank you for reacting to their songs. Also, I found you when youtube recommended one of your videos. Why wasn’t this recommended earlier? ㅠㅠ

They do mostly everything as a group with all 7 members but what you have been watching and listening to are the vocal line jungkook, v, jimin, and Jin the other 3 are rap line and that is RM, suga, and j-hope, but they do perform together and they dance while they sing on stage.
