Hello Respected Vocal Coach Lady. Diva dance has been sung by so many female opera singers including Dimash and its such a treat to witness a piece which wasnt intended for the human voice but edited and introduced in the movie THE 5th ELEMENT. I find it soOo interesting that Dimash turned down an OPERA house offer which gives me the idea he wasnt prepared to be put into a "BOX" to be labled and classified as TENNOR. Instead him, his opera singer mother and music producer father is letting him travel the world on his own pace. Ever expanding his arsenal in artistry and musicianship. Still doing his doctorate and ever growing in his craft so fascinating. China is already using him as YARDSTICK in their music and vocal coach classess and seminars studying his technique. You can tell Dimash isnt interested in Fame he doesnt want to prove anything. Just a proud and respectable man representing his country carving them a spot in history. Another great reaction. Diva Dance is originally a song from the classic 1997 sci-fi thriller “The Fifth Element” starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. For the scene the song’s composer, Eric Serra designed the piece with the intent that it would be impossible for a human to perform the high-pitch staccato sections. He had Inva Mula-Tchako, an Albanian opera lyric soprano, sing the notes individually so that they could then be arranged digitally and recorded. In the movie, this song is “performed” by an alien, Diva Plavalaguna, played by Maïwenn Le Besco. Chinese opera singer Zhang Jane sang her own rendition of the song, complete with a full orchestra, hitting every note almost perfectly without the help of a computer or digital aids. She even managed to sing some of the low notes. Dimash is the only male vocalist I know of who has performed the song exceptionally well, and in my humble opinion gave a superior performance. Although, I believe that he sings the song a semitone lower than the original. The original of this song from the film, "The 5th Element" wasn't even actually sung straight through but was in fact "constructed" by the filmmakers. It got a reputation as being impossible for a human to actually sing. Only the most talented singers have been able to perform it at all, and no one better than this.

Did you really not recognize this vocalization of "diva Plavalaguna" from the movie "The Fifth Element"? This vocalization was composed from the voices of several opera singers and then processed on a computer. According to the authors of the film, it is impossible for a person to accurately reproduce this sound. However, Dimash, with his phenomenal voice, reproduces this vocalization almost one-on-one!
