Vocal Coach Analysis: Tommee Profitt ft. STANAJ stunning cover of "Noel" ("The birth of a King")
Музыка
I have never heard of this singer, until I discovered the 2020 Tommee Profitt Christmas album "The birth of a King". He collaborated with many different vocalists for this project, as he is a celebrated and highly successful producer, and not a singer.
I just love the whole album, and also this stunning arrangement and performance of "Noel". I would really love to hear what you think about it! Also check out the full album:

They also did a live show of the album! Chek it out here:

@stanaj -- My daughter & I were blessed to be in the choir for both BOAK concerts, and let me just say that we SO appreciate you using your God-given gifts to be such an important part of this event! Your performance is (honestly) one of the best I have ever heard! So we pray blessings on whatever lies ahead for you! Merry Christmas!

You famous on TikTok bro God bless you and keep it up amazing voice
The Birth of a King is a Masterpiece Tommee says this song told him how far he could go with the entire album/concert
I think he has the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard
Really enjoyed your insightful analysis of this song (and others)! You were spot on when you talked about music needing to connect and make the listener FEEL (vs. being technically perfect) -- that is so true! I had never even heard of Tommee Profitt (or Stanaj, for that matter) until last October/November when our local choir group here in Nashville was invited to be the choir for the 2022 "Birth of a King" concert (full video recently released here on youtube). WOW! What an incredible experience to be on stage in the choir (along with my daughter) for this concert -- and what a blessing to be in the choir again 2 weeks ago for the 2023 BOAK concert at the historic Opry House (hoping that this will become an annual Nashville concert event)! Tommee retells the true Christmas story in such a magnificent and beautiful way -- he takes traditional Christmas favorites and crafts them into something special using his trademark cinematic style. This is without a doubt the most epic and beautiful Christmas album/project I have ever heard or experienced (and I am 60)! Thanks again for breaking this song down in such a thoughtful way, and introducing more people around the world to the super-talented/gifted Tommee Profitt (and Stanaj)! I pray that you and your family have a Blessed and Merry Christmas! He IS Born! 🙂

@@JohanBesterYourVocalCoach- Amen! He IS RISEN Indeed! (And maybe this gives you a good excuse to travel to Nashville and sing with the choir in NEXT year's concert! Assuming Tommee gets the 2024 concert plans worked out... {wink/nod to TP} 🙂)
Oh how I wish you would have analyzed the live Christmas one vs this one that just happened recently! The way he hit the note wow great insight!!
Thank you for introducing me to this artist and your thoughtful comments.
He is just honestly amazing gift 🎙️
Love the timbre of his voice
My favorite from the live concert!! Just wow!!
Check out "Lament from the Grave" for Stanaj singing in his native Albanian. Amazingly haunting.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback 🙋🏻♂️
Hello! This is the first of your reaction videos that I have ever seen and it gave me something to think about. Usually when I hear a singer hit those high notes I cringe waiting for the voice to break. I think people push their voices to the brink for the praise of the audience. When you were talking about the control that Stanaj had it made me rethink a singers ability to hit the high notes with control and ease. I was hoping you could fit it in you schedule to analyze Kari Jobe singing Hark the Herald Angel Sing, another Tommee Profitt production. Kari is another singer who likes to 'yell' her high notes. It makes my throat tighten when I listen but at the same time I feel a sense of awe. Am I justified in my awe of her abilities or is she one of those singers who is simply yelling her notes? Also, could you give an example of someone using their voice wrong (yelling with no control) so that I know the difference? Thank you and I hope your channel takes off and is a success.
I loved this production. I thoroughly enjoyed his song and style. I'm sure he has a great future!
Beautiful
