@tanyastanley5730 The potato envy is real. My husband can’t have them either for similar reasons and he misses fries so much. He says he can live with the pain but the restricted diet is a kick in the nuts. May they both find comfort. 💜

I KNEW from the first time that I heard Ren that he had volumes of notebooks and notepads! The only notes I write on my phone are grocery lists.

On most of his vids, look in the comments section and the lyrics are there.

His throwing down the food and not eating it is symbolic of the extremely strict diet he is on due to his illness, it was done on purpose.

It’s when you realise he writes hes own beats and produces and directs all his music videos you realise his a mega talent

I’m sure it’s very collaborative but I’ve seen a couple times where Ren mentions he directs and conceptualizes his music videos. Sam (or Luke) are the cinematographers.

Ok to respond to a few things you guys said in your reaction. Great job on that BTW! 1. This was filmed in Brighton if I'm not mistaken which is in the UK, but not London. 2. I believe he is walking near a peer (that is to his right as he's walking off at the end). Hence all the short poles to keep autos from crashing over from the road. 3. He has fish and chips with mushy peas (not guacamole) Still ehh! 4. Because of his Lyme Disease he is allergic to most foods. Lyme and Black Mold poisoning both blow as they attack your immune system in a very similar fasion and you basically become allergic to everything. (I have mold poisoning, it blows). Those are what I can remember from your reaction. Now... I see you've gotten into the Ren rabbit hole a bit, but man your still missing some of the sickest Ren Bombs from the list. You need to Hit: Losing it (BOMB), Love Music #3 (BOMB), Crucify Your Culture (bomb), What You Want (bomb), Diazepam (Vibe Bomb), Heretic (Vibe Bomb), Ocean (BomB), Hold On (Bomb). and then there's still a bunch more amazing Ren tracks. Oh yeah, Insomnia, Dear God, Power (ALL Bombs). Dudes catalog is bangin' like no other.

4:25 - Ren can't eat that. He has to eat a very specific diet and if he ate fish and chips he would get really sick and be in a lot of pain.

That’s Brighton, and as it’s a tourist town, and has been since the idea of going to the beach became a thing in the 1700s., the streets along the seafront are more pedestrian friendly and designed to discourage car traffic. There’s sone because the Hines and businesses in tge are need access, but nobody through traffic should go sone other way if they want to get anywhere fast.

Even though I am strictly against wasting food I loved his decision here to include that in the video [as I know the English someone probably ate that anyway after he was gone ^^]. We got the frustration and inner outrage at seeing and phantom-smelling that food and then having to work away from it with him. Powerful move.

Despite many Americans perception - London is a city in England (the capital) and it is not an actual country - this was filmed in a different city, called Brighton (on the south coast). London is not on the coast. I know that’s a hard thing for many of you to grasp and get your heads around but yeah - England and the U.K. (And most other countries) are normally made up of lots of different cities, towns and villages etc in a similar way to how America is. For instance, if he’d filmed this in New York, you wouldn’t watch it and shout “Hey Los Angeles, you’ve got too many street lights”
