Gayna, I love watching you cook. It all looked delicious. I love the relationship you and your parents have. I don’t know any other divorced couples that get along so well. ❤

If you are still in Bath…..The Loft is fab for coffee. Corkage is a great restaurant if you can get in and you like small plates. Also Same same but different or Yak yeti yak. And if you want a fun end to the night try The Drawing Rooms for the Piano bar. Need to book. There is so much choice. Have a fab time.

I rarely run out of energy. I get bored of the same old thing all the time but I have plenty of energy, I’m very fortunate. X

wonderfull as always Gayna I love that you now have your Grandads trowl you could have it engraved with his name and birth and death date so the boys will always know it is special so have something like Grandad Bill and his info . I love older special things like that . Hugs Beth

Hi Gayna. We had the most amazing steak at The Herd in Bath. It's about 5 doors down from Pultney Bridge. And the Nata shop on the same street (other side of the bridge) was yummy

That is so strange. I am from Holland, but was wondering what your Dutch baby is. I have looked it up, and originally it comes from America. But I have found a recipe and will give it a try some day. 😊

I'm curious; how do you store your starter in the winter? My kitchen apparently stays too cool, I have used the Foodbod recipe and just not much luck. Now that it is Summer I may give it another go.

My starter always goes back in the fridge after I’ve used it. I bring it out, let it reach room temp then I feed it and start the cycle again x

I don't prebake my quiche pastry and its always been ok, have a lovely time, haven't been to Bath for years so no recommendation here sorry xx 😂

We used to make "puffy pancake" (Dutch baby) for our son for breakfast before school. I started sneaking almond flour into it as he got older. For coffee etc try the Loft in Bartlett street, it is a combination of Cafe Lucca & Blue which is an independent fashion &homeware boutique - highly recommend 😃

Try Chez Dominique - my sister and I had an amazing meal in there. Staff attentive but not in your face and food wonderful!

It depends what you're looking for, but we stumbled on Wild Cafe one day when we'd left home without having breakfast. It's on Queen St. If you're looking for a meal, maybe a cocktail or 2, Banana Tree is good independent French restaurant on George St, BA12EJ. As one review says, fon't be put off by the decor, the creme brulee is AMAZING! if you're going to Tarn Story on Walcot St, The Best of British Cafe, is tiny, but Steve lives their coffee! They usually have an amusing slogan on a blackboard encouraging you to 'eat more cake '! We haven't tried the cake, but it does look delightful (we are watching our figures! And are therefore a bit boring). Hope if you try any of the recommendations, that uou enjoy them. BTW, there us a Gin Shop just opposite Wild. Have a great time! xx

Please pardon my curiosity but, what is the tall skinny door(s) next to your refrigerator? I’ve never noticed it before and I’m quite curious as to what you use it for. 🤔 I love re-using cereal bags, any bags really, as well. How lovely that you and your mum helped your dad with his garden. I would love to help my mom with hers more often but, I live almost 1,300 miles away from her🫤😅 so, I do what I can when I visit. I will envy your trip to Bath. Oh, I hope you have the best time!

Always! You either have to have a lot of time or a lot of money to run this place and I always feel like I never have quite enough of either at the moment 😂😂😂
