I got an advent calendar this year ( 1st one).Just found the bag I put them in ( I moved & didn't no where the bag was. 😁) I'm making a scarf out of a pattern from Expression Fiber Arts.

Man you find the most pretty colors of vanilla socks. I saw the vanilla socks in another video i watched, I love sweet loren's chocolate chip and fudgy brownie, I'm going to have to hunt for those. They are addicting. Love the color for legacy fibers for day 15. The twice sheared scissors are beautiful. I personally love sugar n cream for dishcloths.

I love the Sweet Loren's cookies! I just hunted down the fudgey brownie (thank you) but already had gingerbread and the mint chocolate. One thing I do: when they're done baking (I do 11 minutes so they're still soft/chewy), I bang the cookie sheet on the rack or counter one or two times - the cookie flattens and spreads a little bit and then they seem bigger. Just a fun mental game I like to play tricking myself into thinking I'm getting more cookie. Thanks for your videos - they always bring me so much joy!

SUPER idea for pot holders for the grill. One of those "lightbulb moments" for sure. Wow your blanket is growing by leaps and bounds. It's amazing, Kay....and such fun memories of your advents and holiday knitting this year. Seeing your cookies reminds me that I need to finalize my cookie recipes for cookie tray baking next week. SOOOO many decisions.....I need to get cracking on that. AND get moving on getting 2 pairs of men's socks done. Seeing all of your finished projects makes me want to give myself a kick in the pants and get going....and not get distracted by 2 MKALs that I can't stay away from. I need to plan A LOT BETTER next year (I say every year.) :)

You are such an inspiration! I’m sitting here knitting on my modified Cozy Memories blanket and contemplating making pot holders. Because, really, who doesn’t need more potholders in their kitchen when they’re cooking….. Plus having black pot holders just makes sense. As always, your pups are so cute! Especially when Dexter tried to become one with the couch.

That’s great! We have tried the mint and fudgy brownie. They fudgy brownie is just what everyone requests so I haven’t tried any others. I do have a pack of sugar ones to make this week though. So I’ll share how those are!

Kay - when you knit an all-ribbed sock - do you need to make the leg longer than you would normally since the ribbing pulls out taking away some of the length? thanks!

I’ve never done that. I just do the same amount of rounds that I would do for total leg length.

When knitting your squares for your blanket, how do you knit (or not) the first and last stitch? 🤔 your edges look so clean. It would seem that it would make it easier to pick up stitches for the adjacent square.
