That comfort nursing is the hardest to stop. Your family and home is beautiful. I hope you all will be able to resolve the issues with the cracking. Our inspector saved us from the first house we made an offer on that had moisture creeping in one of the walls. All houses have defects but it’s so frustrating when you aren’t aware of them up from to see if it’s something you can live with or be willing to fix.

How old is the house? New builds can take up to seven years to settle. Also, the soil in Louisiana especially southern Louisiana is very moist which does affect settlement. If the home is not a new build and was gutted and remodeled the new drywall will and trimming will crack as it adjust to the humidity fluctuations in the house. Lastly, you can purchase a leveler at home depot to see how plumb the floors and walls are and contact a foundation specialist to inspect the foundation.

Check the laws in your city. You may be able to sue for the foundation damage for nondisclosure of either 1. The assessor 2. Realtor 3. The seller... Don't let too much more time go by Good luck!

Document all of the problems in the house and talk to a lawyer about suing your builder. There is a statute of limitations involved so you have to get on it. If the house is not new, review your inspection report to see if these problems were documented. Act judiciously to preserve your rights.

Consistency is hard but the important thing is to try. Oh I remember those days! My daughter nursed until she was three!!! I think you just need to decide when you're done. There's no easy way to get them to stop.

Yes it’s no easy way I stop when my baby was 7months. How I did it was everyday I feed him one feeding less so I will not get engorged and it won’t be so traumatizing for him and after a week I was done

For weaning I wouldn’t put too much pressure on yourself. When she’s ready to wean she’ll stop asking for it as much. But if you want to really wean her without waiting too long since you said you have business to take care of you just have to do it cold turkey. Basically just telling her no when she asks & telling her she can’t have anymore boobies/milkies whatever she calls it. Offer water or something else to see if she’ll take it. I had to do it this way with my son because we were breastfeeding at 2 1/2 years old & nothing else worked. It’s awesome you guys have made it this far❤️

Honestly it was hard to stop nursing since I was at home and my son was 2 as well. He would nurse to go to sleep and in the morning. For me the only thing that help was time and spending time away when I took a part time job.

As far as weaning Lavender: my kids all took a long time to wean themselves. I didn’t realize this at the time, but when I looked back, I saw that each time-although it was unplanned-I went away for a weekend, and when I came back: the baby was done! So hopefully u have some super loving relatives nearby that u can leave the kids with, and u and hubby can get away for a weekend. 2 birds, one stone!!

Nursing. Oh boy thats tough. Honestly, I just had to cold turkey it. Lol. However, I introduced the bottle as well early on, ( i breastfed and pump n dump) so it was a lil easier. You can do it. You got this mommy.

Each child is different. My first two weaned themselves by the time they were one. My third child was very clingy and I had to wean him at 2 1/2. They are all lactose sensitive so I ended up giving him lactose free milk with a teaspoon of vanilla creamer. I know that sounds really weird when you say it, but it’s the closest thing I could get to have breast milk taste, or at least how mine tasted. By that age he was only nursing, like you said, when he was needing comfort or when he was taking a nap, or going to sleep at night. The nighttime feeding was the last one to go. I hope this helps a little. The struggle is real! 🌺

Sorry, I'm catching up on your videos! I'm an essential worker. Lavender 🥰 The house is settling which causes the foundation to do that. My parents house did the same thing however, home owners insurance took care of the cracks except for the ones in the garage. They considered them as "mother nature" events & be sure to take pictures.

Breastfeeding: when your child has started to consume solid foods that is the time to stop breastfeeding. It then becomes just a soothing mechanism like a pacifier or a blanket.

When I stopped nursing my son he was 10 months. My mom would keep him while I worked so he was partially bottle fed sonit was pretty easy. She seem pretty persistent, lol. You might have to go cold turkey and she will not like it. Just keep offering a bottle. She will eventually take it.
