If you leave an UTI untreated for too long, meaning it's so important to catch it right away with antibiotics, you run the risk of getting sepsis. Sepsis is where the infection spreads into your bloodstream and can be deadly. This is no joke and happens faster than you think.

Sure, but UTIs were a thing long before antibiotics, in most cases it will resolve on its own with the help of more natural remedies, if you're generally healthy, and it feels mild it's not something you necessarily want to get antibiotics for especially not often

@@Mr.Chedda_ and back then, people rarely lived until 40. She’s not exactly at the peak of health either. Maybe a person who exercises regularly, isn’t overweight etc can recover from certain things but if you’re obese, have a very poor diet (processed food, high sugar and high fat with almost no vegetables or fruit) and don’t exercise - I doubt she has peak immunity.

I would be so pissed if my boyfriends cat tore up my couch like that. It’s a cat so I understand there isn’t much you can do but dans cats have no chill. They are always on the counter and constantly meowing like crazy. I guess they could have put a blanket over the arm rest so the cat couldn’t get to it actually

Things like D-Mannose, pure cranberry, and those urinary analgesic pills can help with symptoms, but it might mask them to the point where you think you're getting better but the bacteria can still flourish, they should be a thing you use in conjunction with antibiotics. That cranberry drink you got is a cocktail and is mostly sugar and could make it worse. I had mild UTI symptoms that I put off and was like "Eh, I'll make a doctors appointment later." The pain was manageable for a week until suddenly, I woke up and it felt like my kidneys were failing me and I ended up hospitalized. UTIs can lead to issues that can be fatal. You should get a urine culture if you feel symptoms.

Yep, thought I could flush out a UTI without antibiotics and eventually ended up at the urgent care with blood in my urine. It can quickly turn into a kidney infection

Most of her content is “TMI” as she clearly feels comfortable sharing this stuff with her viewers. If this bothers you I just don’t understand why you are subscribed. @jenniferwest327 At first I kinda liked Dan for Cassie. She was alone so long, a partner was also what she wanted. Now I'm seeing his lack of ambition. He doesn't seem to take work promotions, further his (HS) education (yet is a total know it all regardless). He slacks off around the apartment. She makes him breakfast sandwiches while he sits there playing video games? Lol I get that he does have a manual labor job and gets tired, but OMG that's not an excuse to make her do laundry, care for his cats and whatever else. Every occasion be it Birthdays, Christmas, Valentines etc she does everything. He's always napping or sleeping in the days. As for their diets. They both eat poorly. She's obese and he's skinny-fat.

Cranberry cocktail juice is not going to help a uti. It can actually make it worse. Also, those meds only relieve symptoms they don’t get rid of the infection. I get uti’s often and have learned a lot over the years. 😅 Please go see a doctor so it doesn't turn into a kidney infection.

Thank you!! I love to bake for my family. I don't have cats but I do have a dog. Dog hair gets everywhere (unless you have a breed that doesn't shed). Ofc my dog doesn't get on my counters but just from loving on her her hair gets all over my clothing. I won't begin to bake until I change my shirt and then I use an apron. I also clean down my counters and wash my hands constantly. I want my family to enjoy my bakes. Not take a bite only to find white hairs in it, lol 🤮

Dan definitely the type of guy that doesn’t shower much, that’s the cause of your UTI 🤢

What a petty thing to complain about. Poor cahier might have been on their feet for 8h dealing with several dozens of customers every day, it has to be exhausting. They're humans too, not machines, and empathy doesn't cost a thing.

She claims to *sanitize* and *disinfect * I don't see how she can do that when those cats are constantly walking around and then she's always got cat hair clung to her and you can see it on her face in this video. I'm sorry but you can't cook in that environment and expect it not have cat hair or some sort of bacteria. I mean she literally made a bunch of cookie dough for family and friends and you know she didn't keep the cats off of the counters. Ugh so gross. She acts like it's no big deal. Maybe they wouldn't do it if she would actually enforce the issue. You have to be consistent with animals for them to mind and behave. And then to have a cat do that to furniture and just say I give up they can scratch it, that's not helping the issues any! They know they can do whatever they want and get away with it. Also chewing on powercords? That's not just a hazard to her but everyone living in that building! She better hope someone in that apartment building don't watch her videos. I'm sure there's more damage than just the couch.

more like the comments about how repulsive they were finally got to her and she made him an ultimatum to finally go to a dentist for a cleaning. that level of build up on his teeth doesn't come off with white strips. that's a professional job lol

I suggest antibiotics for a UTI. I tried the cranberry pills and it doesn’t work.. it honestly prolongs the inevitable and can create a deadly infection

I struggled with UTIs last holiday season, I put off dealing with it because it didnt feel like it was a super big deal, but honestly? Once I was on antibiotics and started feeling better I was sure going to the dr was worth it. I ended up with a reoccurring infection a few weeks later even with taking all of the antibiotics strictly on schedule which is apparently common. But once again, I felt so much better after going through a second round of antibiotics. Its pretty easy to accidentally get a UTI, even if your hygiene is usually good. Take care of yourself, be kind to your body, it's worth it.

Hoping you went to the doctor & are better! So glad to see folks giving sound medical/sexual advice (like peeing after sex) surrounding this. We gotta take care of ourselves!

Hey, Cassie -- I just finished watching the 2019 cookie baking and noticed the spritz gun in this one looks waaay less painful to use. What brand is this? Is this the vintage MIRRO cookie and pastry press? I did see that the OXO one is supposed to be the best, but that one looked like it was much easier on the hands.

You unfortunately need antibiotics for uti. Those pills you are taking just slightly relieve the pain and urgency but don't help clear the infection. It's common for women in het relationships to get utis. My recommendation is to always pee after sex and if possible, wash up and have your partner wash before as well as after. Ever since we started implementing this, I haven't had a uti.

You're 100% right, and also the cranberry remedies can help as a daily remedy to keep problems at bay but once there's an infection, you actually need antibiotics. Your tips are good too, but for me I kept getting UTIs not because of sex but because I was just generally dehydrated because I struggle drinking enough. So that's another thing to watch out for.

Be a warrior not a worryer!

Cassie if you do have a UTI you need to get to a doctor, that only helps alleviate the pain not the actual cause of the infection-and yeah, cranberry juice is good for your urinary tract but all the sugar will make an infection worse and leaving it too long will ensure you'll need stronger antibiotics so best to nip it now than later! A few tips to avoid them in the future-make sure not to use any weird lubes, get something for sensitive skin and water based. Pee before sex if you can but definitely pee after so you can flush out anything that may sit around and cause problems. Also to be completely blunt....make sure you're aroused enough before going in...microscopic tears can lead to infection so make sure you're either lubed up or make sure you have plenty of foreplay beforehand! But yeah! Hope it gets/got better!

Using those pain pills is fine for a very short period of time is ok, but I hope you are calling yourself in for some antibiotics! Depending on what insurance you have, a lot of insurance companies offer virtual calls and most doctors will call in a prescription for an antibiotic if you are used to having UTIs.

I love baked goods for gifts. I look forward to my sister in laws snickerdoodles every year and she loves my bread pudding. Food and decorating are the best things about Christmas.

Cranberry juice is especially bad for UTI. I once had a UTI that got so bad that I was reaaally close to a blood infection. Love you! Take care of yourself 🩵🩵🐣☀️💐 Speak to a pharmacist about what they would suggest for you to buy that is on the shelves without prescription. Don’t wait too long to see a doctor if it doesn’t go away without antibiotic. Antibiotic is unfortunately the way to go.

@@hayleyhaskell3578 I thought the same thing for the looongest time. But yup, my doctor let me know that even the sugars in fruit can aggravate a UTI. Any source of sugar. There are a number of things you can buy from the grocery store that can help much more than pure cranberry juice. I drank pure cranberry juice every single day until I had a pain in my back that was sooo bad I had to see a doctor. It turned out that the pain in my back was actually my kidneys. The infection had reached my kidneys in the time that I was drinking tons of cranberry juice. I wouldn’t wish the pain on anyone. Just awful.

OK, found them. I got them from Chewy and they are Frisco Wall Sisal cat scratcher. I do have them attached to the wall in places but there's like two sections so they bend longs ways in the middle so you can attach it perfectly to your couch corners! I'm tell you, you have to look at them to see what I mean. My cats LOVEEE them.. anywhere we've put them up. Also if any of your babies like to get brushed, especially in the head/face area.. you must also get something called Face scratcher & massage comb corner brush. Not for everyone but my cats love to use this constantly. Hope this helps! ❤😊 🐈‍⬛🐈

I understand the areas of improvement expectation with work. It can be never ending. I have the book 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels on my work desk. It helps to do an exercise from it if I feel the stress build up. I also like reading from the Tao Te Ching.

Yay - A raise! Congratulations! UTIs - Urelle. That's the best. It also colors your pee, but it's blue. (I recommend Urelle and equivalent products over others; I use it daily and it's fantastic. I have a chronic bladder condition, Interstitial Cystitis, so I had to try all manner of bladder products to find what works.) Your kitties are so cute. I love their chatter. Oh, and the poo question is relevant. I mean, it could be dirt, or chocolate, or pet food. You never know. lol I saw your butter needs needs. Sam's Club has a 4 butter cartons, 4 sticks in each one. It's not a bad price either - $14.12 (4 lbs) I wrote down your Gramie's spritz recipe. I have a press I found thrifting so perfect. I am the same about the kitchen. I can't go to bed until my kitchen is "reset."

I think thats the one I use. Think it has the stuff that coats the bladder to help flush bacteria and helps with pain.

Yeah if I start taking that at the first signs and drink a lot of fluids, take d-mannose it has gone away on its own.

I don't know that he ruined her, but I feel like he's not mature enough to handle living with a significant other, but that's just what I'm seeing from snippets of their life together. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I also have a dog.. so it could be dirt or a leaf, it could be cat food, it could literally be anything brownish.. personally I try to tell before I pick it up but hey, sometimes ya just gotta do the sniff test. You have to then find the source.. is it on a paw, a shoe, etc.... Lol I know, TMI 😆

I can get UTIs often and I've found taken oil of oregano capsules when I first feel symptoms seem to stop it.

fruits and vegetables are actually some of the least healthiest foods. boiled or soft cooked meat and raw fish is best. same with raw eggs if on budget or raw milk if u care to do local farming

@@lisawerner6993 its omelets , raw dairy some seasonal berries, beef chicken soup, some herbs. ya cured my crohns of 15 years and doctors are always shocked im not on pills lelel took me many years to learn so i try to drop hints every once in a while. learning from nature and history is amazing
