When me and my husband bought our place - we didn’t have a couch for 2 months 😅. We honestly just made the best of it with a bunch of pillows and blankets.

I have used command strips since they came out and had them in the same place for as much as 5 years and never had an issue taking them off. If you just move slowly and follow directions, they'll come off properly. The issues start coming up when people disregard instructions and pull them off like a wax strip lol. I hope you don't get dinged too badly for the damage!
