I had my land and this is what I was looking for 10 years ago. I had seen one house in F10 which the owner had tried to make it like this- more like cheap construction.. after the wall foundation and 2 feet of walls he had used hard board inside and iron sheets outside. And tin roofs.

They did not give any details about hearing and cooling, though showed the controls- is it done by electricity or gas or solar. She said environment friendly, so if solar, then it will be excellent. Also, should give some details about after-sales services. Abroad it is common so maintenance is available everywhere. But in Pakistan ordinary maintenance person will not be able - maybe. I think they should offer after-sales maintenance with the guarantee. Excellent job to even make it available here.

There are necessary by-laws that NEEDS to be followed on an urban/meso level. Otherwise we'll face the same horrid situation every year. The restoration of the destroyed houses need to be done via local materials, local labor with some standards to be followed. For example; the elevated house to BFL (base flood level), vents in the foundation for the flood water to pass under the house, electrical equipment and wires to be fitted on the first floor, and emergency exit to the roof, (waterproofing interior walls if possible), materials that can be easily chipped off and replaced after the flood water goes and so on. Container houses are not a solution to this. Unfortunately, our government doesn't want to take professionals on board to provide them with proper solutions where the future flash floods CAN be avoided and the intensity of destruction will be far less.

These are common in Europe and USA Canada. It's fire resistant and sound proof and first world countries are using this since 1980s. Now IK's government wants to Revolutionise the construction industry. It's time and money saving technology.

All houses can be earthed for protection against lightening . Pre-fabricated is not new technology it’s just being introduced in Pakistan now

Contacted khubib khan on several occassions one of the associated architects in this project however to no avail , no response whatsoever . Who do we liaison with ? Anybody out there has more information? Any company that will construct these projects in areas within easy reach of Islamabad ? Thank you
