I sleep about three to four and have developed serious health related issues. Some people think it increases productivity but your miserable for most of your day because your tired. She should check for underlying possible health issues.

Even if it is possible, you shouldn't do it. Health-wise, it would be very, very bad long term. Studies suggest that people who sleep less than 5 hours a night are at higher risk for multiple health problems.

there's actually a specially type of gene that only a few people have and if you have it, you can function off of very little sleep. I don't know if she has it though, because I only sleep for about two hours (btw I don't have the gene), and even though I "feel" awake, I am not and it's really effecting my body.

@@-Yeki I'm not a doctor but I thought that was people that slept for around 5-6 hours and could perform cognitively the same. Idk if someone could do 2 hours, without any health problems, unless they implemented some sort of polyphasic sleeping to get their rem cycles in.
