I would like to share my renovation journey with you. With a clear vision of what I want, I chose not to engage an interior designer, since it helps me save some money. Furthermore, it is easy to find design inspiration everywhere nowadays. KZread and Pinterest were my sources.
The following is how I used the Home Renovation Budget Tracker, a Gantt Chart, and a Mood Board to plan, budget, and research the renovation of a HDB BTO 2-room unit.
1) Home Renovation Budget Tracker: A renovation requirements list was created to determine the budget.
2) Home Renovation Project Gantt Chart: A Gantt chart can help keep track of the deadlines.
3) Mood Board: It is a visual tool for communicating ideas and concepts with your ID or renovation contractor.
