Red watermelons have been around many decades before GMO ever existed, so I don’t think that’s true lol. 🙂 Also, there are some seedless watermelons that are GMO, but farmers can also cross pollinate non-GMO watermelons to make them seedless. Best bet is to buy from the Farmers’ Market, farmers selling at fruit stands or on the side of the road. 😃

Hey, I love water melon, especially the yellow meat. That is the first I have heard of the GMO done to the melons. have you ever tried Ugli (Ugly) Fruit. It is so good. I have not been able to find it anymore her in the South MS. It taste like orange and a little grapefruit. The outside looks like it maybe going bad, but the worst it looks the sweeter it is.
