At first, I was also feeling slightly skeptical about kak sha's participation in GV. Tapi lepas fikir balik tentang explanation kak sha dalam vlog ni, she is right. All profession in this world requires you take chances in improving yourself to be a better person in whatever sectors you are in. Joining a competition is one of the ways for self-improvement. Some people might say "oh dia dah banyak menang so kasi chance ah". But to me, it's a learning process. This is Shila Amzah. So kalau dia nak join apa-apa pertandingan pun, it is her own choice. shila p lah masuk Kelas vokal untuk menambahkan ilmu di dada, walaupun sebenarnya aku rasa ko tak perlu kot nak masuk, tapi sebagai nak memenuhi ilmu dan untuk mendapatkan sijil pembelajaran dan manalah tahu dikemudian hari nak pula jadi guru vokal rasanya patut masuk kelas vokal tu ya selepas habis GV9 teruskan ke kelas vokal maju dan terus maju ,,...errrr ada satu lagi Shila ni layaknya jadi panel juri ..bukan jadi peserta. I dont know how many youtuber channels that you have but if this is the only one, I would suggest that you use both Bahasa and Mandarin for your Chinese fans in the country and China. I dont think Shila’s lowest is B3. Even professional artists dont know much about vocal coz most of them are naturally talented w/o proper training. That said, normally light lyric soprano like Shila lowest note should be around F3/G3, with some (rare) pop singers can extend down to C3 or C#3/D3. Update: I think Shila is actually a Lyric Mezzo. Not Lyric Soprano. 🙏🏼

Shila has few attempts of C#3 and those quite strong. I’m pretty sure she can go down till B2 with so much air. Her tone pretty light and it’s amazing she can go down there.

@@akinadik07 just checked her lower register. Make sense. Her low range is not bad, not developed but has a lot of potential. Saw her hitting C#3 with rounded tone, w/o using vocal fry. She’s not comfortable in the upper belting register either, i think she used to hit F5/F#5 highest with a lot of tension. And her headvoice is limited as well. Guess she a light lyric mezzo.

@@aemirru7739 yep, quite a strong C#3 considering her bright vocal tone. Now i do think she’s a lyric mezzo. Kinda like JoJo who’s a coloratura mezzo. Bright tone with mezzo’s range. She’ll be great singing other popular mezzo singers like Adele, Beyonce (highly skilled), Lady Gaga etc.

@@yureino Shila tend to change to heady mix for belting range but her mix not really consistent. However sometimes her F5 remind me of ernie’s. I think her head voice pretty good. She can produce fuller sound up to Eb6.

Maaf la lebeh dulu..Gegar vaganza ni kan untok yg lama tak buat performance tak kluar dari TV..mcm shila kn da masok mana2 show ,dan contest ..kasi la peluang pada yg lain..jgn la tamak... u da menang n selalu buat cover show ofcouse da tentu boleh masok u.mana2 yg memang hebat.. why not masok dlm amereca got talen.. u sepatutnya nye tak bole tamak..kesian kn pada yg lain2 yg tak pernah buat persembahan..

For me mcm da kureng sikit..slalu tgok dia buat show dia byk da low kn ley lagu..kalo part hightnote mcm segan2 je nk bg skrg..maybe faktor usia.. but xtau la dlm gv ni dia kan all out nanti gudluck smua peserta gv9😻
