Jerika, my girl! Thanks for showing us what we've all been wondering. I was curious based on the pH of bath bombs how/what color pea flower powder would turn the bomb/water or if it is just a dud. You're awesome for playing around with this for the rest of us! Thank you! BTW, I always watched your content, but was always sad you seldom focused on all natural solutions, (my brand creed) I'm so happy that you're not only making a more natural bath bomb but discussing the foaming issue alternatives! Side note, in foaming sugar scrubs/ whipped soap/ and I guess by proxy also just regular soap. I'd steer away from purple sweet potato powder, Went from purple to blue, and now to a strange dark sage green. I've only done it in the soap scrubs... but since you're delving into natural colorants, hopefully this information will help you/others.

How does the butterfly pea powder stain the bathub? I just had a customer say their bathtub stained! I used polysorbate 80 so not sure what the problem is.

I've been thinking about starting a KZread channel for awhile now and when i get an idea I've never seen, someone pops up with the same idea! LOL I have zero editing experience so that's really what's stopping me from moving forward.

I was just wondering if you ever do any videos on hand making bathbombs? I know you are a professional and need to make big batches but I am not and would love to see you do it from scratch no machines, weight scales etc. If your every in the mood i would love that.

I love butterfly pea powder for its colours and the way it can change from blue to purple because of citric acid. Last time I made anything with butterfly pea flowers , the colour hasn’t lasted unfortunately. I had made a face serum which was a beautiful purple but then faded to gray. Have you noticed any fading with the other products you’ve made? Thank you Jerika! 💜

Yes! With most botanical things, that seems to be the tradeoff. Sad to see the color fade! 😢

So I started shrink wrapping my soap but realized I have a bad sensitivity to the melted plastic while I am doing it. It causes my lungs to hurt. Today, I tried it outdoors and once again, my chest hurt after. Any tips on how to prevent this? I may need to sell my full roll of film, sealer and heat gun 😞. They are all brand new too.

Oh my goodness, that sounds awful! No, I haven’t experienced this but I am so sorry you’re going through this. I would put my health first if I was in your shoes and do what’s best for my body. It’s a tough call though… I feel your pain ❤
