Well balanced Vlog - thanks. After 22 years here I can agree with most of what you have said. It's very useful to have a variety of skills that you can make money from because working for day wage is going to be tough. The life here is fantastic once you have overcome the culture shock. The locals are warm and friendly once you have been introduced. So much history, culture and beautiful, rugged scenery to enjoy. Fabulous food and wine and fiestas. I will never leave.

Or ? not so much - because you think you pick the right country ? There are ssoo many other countries... I am going in 2 days there...Is he American ?no he is not . Where, in Spain specifically he is talking about?

Spot on! I moved to Marbella 2 years ago and have exactly the same information, experiences and advice. I would also mention that if you are planning to move to Spain as a freelancer be aware of the Autonomo fees that most other countries don't have! Great video for anyone thinking about moving to Spain! As you have mentioned It can be quite challenging and everything takes forever! Banks, police offices and paper work offices tend to close at 2pm so it becomes impossible to get paper work done if you have a full time monday to friday job! Things like car tax need to be paid in the office of which your car is registered! Can not be paid over the internet like most countries! The list goes on! You also need to register in the new town hall everytime you move! Another thing I wasn't aware of! But.... living in Spain is great on the whole :)

Nice video with good info. The laidback spanish attitude is famously known. Hate it or love it. In The Netherlands we jokingly call it the "Mañana, Mañana" attitude. They take it easy with deadlines and work stuff. It's a different work ethic in Spain for sure.
