@@danieldbdb This has to come from a person that doesn't understand how elo distribution works and maybe confuses inflated online rating with OTB rating. This reality stone dude is about 400 elo points lower rated than Kramnik in Blitz Chess in official FIDE ratings. The rift between the two is so great they might as well be playing in entirely different leagues. In fact they are normally, just not online. So even If you don't like Kramik (I don't share his opinions either) he is absolutely right here, if you do the math he should stand no chance, and chess is not a sport where one can simply just "get lucky". In fact, he is so much worse than Kramnik that the stats would give you a 99.5... % winrate against opponents of his rating level. This is not a Chance (again, chess is not a game to "get lucky") but an expected outcome. So for him to just show up and beat Kramnik badly is indeed very suspect.

@@MCoTEDDY Actually I like Kramnik, but I remember late 90s or early 2000s when they would eventually be upset by an IM for example and wouldn't come up with lame excuses of cheating, simply because they couldn't. I online even lost to a person 400 points lower and I think it wasn't the other player's fault. Players can be deceived and get paranoid with this cheating thing.

Kramnik even accused Hikaru of being a cheater and I respectfully think he might be paranoid. Just because someone plays one match above their usual level doesn't automatically mean they're cheating.
