We haven’t been able to cast to our tv for over a year and couldn’t figure out how , this factory reset was the trick! Glad I found this video !

Omg I love you!! I've been fighting with my tv since last night! I had school today then work this evening and been home 5 mins and found your video!!! Forget Google! I needed you on KZread!!!

This tutorial worked great. Vizio d60-f3 power on and off within 10 secs. Factory reset shown here fixed the issue. Be patient. It takes the tv 10+ minutes to fully reboot and restart. Messages appear every so often given struts update.

My volume buttons wouldn’t work on the neither the cable remote or the tv remote...I tried everything and nothing helped but this worked for both. You are the man!!! Thank you sir!

Oh my Word! Thank you SOOO much. We have been living with the ghost for a year now. Not having a menu button on the remote was a challenge. We tried downloading the app and that didn't work either. This worked like a champ. Thank you again!!!!!!

I watched 6 other videos before I came across yours. The issue was Spectrum replaced our modem. My TV says to go to the menu button to set up wifi. The problem is there is no menu button on the remote, and it is the one that came with the TV. Your factory reset did the trick thanks. 👍

YES! Finally unlocked the TV. I did a firmware update, it finished, then I checked to see if the update was done. It started to do the same update again but when it restarted it got stuck with the spinning animation. This reset method finally broke the cycle.

The first couple of possible solutions I saw on KZread didn't work. I was afraid my TV was DEAD. But you saved the day! HOORAH!!! Many thanks!!👍

Thank you sir! You saved our TV.. our screen was black for a long while and it took a few unplugging and plugging in after the reset but eventually got it up and running. Let the TV take it's time booting back up

Thank goodness I found this!!!!! Worked perfectly the first time. I tried to reset it through the remote but the tv was going super slow and wouldn’t move past the work set up. Then I used this method everything went through perfectly

Thanks for the reset guidance. I added the Vizio software thinking it would improve its performance, what I got instead was Big Brother that wouldnt let me use my antenna but funneled me to their internet sources of entertainment. Thanks!!

I don't have them black square buttons on the back all I have is round buttons on the side. My white Vizio logo on the TV is lit no sound black screen. I held the down volume and input for about a minute nothing came up on my screen. What do I do now?

I had forgot my pin to my kids tv, couldn't do a factory reset and it had stopped connecting to my hotspot. Found this video and it worked. Thanks!!!

It worked!!! 😃I used it on a vizio v435-J01. It just took holding down the volume down and the input buttons at the same time for a few seconds until message came that the memory was being erased...Thank you😃

I just got two of these with a blue only screen, displays images and text, just all blue. I use this technique successfully on one of them and I could see that in demo mode I had colors. They were funky, but I had reds and yellows And greens. Tomorrow I’ll pick up a remote and see if it actually works now . Thanks so much, this was excellent. I know it’s two years old, but it’s still helpful.

This is what started my problem. It did a system update. Turned itself off when it was done and the. It was just like stuck in demo mode and none of my buttons will work. Just restating over and over again
