Glad I was able to help you!!! I was pulling my hair out! No 10 minute intro with music, just a simple fix. Someone had told me about connecting a mouse or a keyboard to the TV through the USB input and fixing it like that also.

This video saved me!!! Seriously. I got here from your first video. I had a Vizio 70-inch where I did a lot of work on the inside, replaced all the LED strips and a new Mainboard. Then when I powered it up I could not do the setup because the remote did not work. I finally tried my cable TV remote (which was set up to power my TV) and it turned on my TV menu. After that, my remote and my phone app both started working. Thanks KDANK!!!

I’ve been fighting with my tv for a few weeks now. I even contacted support they suggested a new remote. Luckily I use the same universal remote as you and I was able to control my tv and setting. Thanks for this upload . You are awesome !

I have the magnavox universal tv remote and it’s not letting me use the MENU button. I programmed the remote I think b/c it allows me to turn/off tv and control the volumes but I cannot get to the MENU to set up my WiFi 😢😢

Once you actually get the remote, you can connect your tv to the same wifi as your phone and use your phone as a remote
