This is superlative. Here's a sincere hope the final portions of this broadcast still exist somewhere.

The woman was Genius !

The only thing sadder than "Act 3, unfortunately, doesn't seem to have survived." is the fact that no filmed version of the original cast (with Tallulah Bankhead as Sabina) is known to exist.

NBC produced a live September 1955 edition, featuring Mary Martin as "Sabina". THAT exists.

I've only seen Tallulah in "Die. Die, My Darling". Did Bruce Willis name his daughter after her?

That's sad. The late "Tonight" Johnny Carson found an old archive of tv/ movies in his attic or basement before he died. I guess they didn't find it there either. I read about a fire that destroyed many films that were not stored by him but I don't know about the whole history.

Why is there no third act? Is it lost? What an amazing play and VERY timely. Every theater company int he country needs to be presenting it.

Is this really a separately filmed version of the Granada TV presentation or is this a kinescope done from the actual TV program? It looks kind of Kinescope like to me.

This was very strange, but I liked seeing David in it.

Vivien Leigh in this part seems like Scarlett again.
