In the original play accompanying the piece, those were singing birds.

Vivaldi evokes every emotion with this masterpiece. The changing of the seasons, excitement and fear of the new unknown, but sadness at saying goodbye to old friend, hoping to see them again soon.

The Winter hits diffrently on me, it gives me shivers, it's incredible.

Used to listening to that music since i was kid. I remember when me and my 3 years younger sister used to roleplay as princess's, rich ladys or the poor housemaid on that music, we used to imagine ourselves dancing in castle party wearing sheets as dresses. We still share same hobbies and listening to this music but while cleaning the whole house or drawing together. 😊😌✨

Vivaldi's Four Seasons are among my all time favourite pieces of classical music. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM All !! It's hard to just have it as background music as I keep wanting to close my eyes and listen to each instrument play its part.

I've been obsessed with it since I was a small child. 64 now, and just as obsessed, and it still makes me cry from its beauty, just like I did as a child. 2020 was a time when most of us were reflecting on what went wrong, and this piece was perfect to absorb that year. Helped me to calm my grandkids, as they were isolated from friends, and relax during all the chaos going on. 2024 right now, and it's helping me to calm down. ❤

The Four Seasons, and others from Vivaldi, have carried me through a lifetime of studying, stress, life events, and downtime. They are masterpieces that successfully take the listeners away to a higher place. Thank you for hosting this, because I love listening.

This is the original Rock and Roll! People today misinterpret "Classical" Music. Put it in context. ALL music then was performed live (no electricity or recording capability)! Notice the age of concert goers today. They are not old people, look at all the famous musicians today. All young people. The Beetles, Led Zepplin, Frankie Valle, All young people. Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, all young. This music was as revolutionary as then as Elvis was! The old people of the day could not stand this music! It was for the younger crowds! It is the same today as it was back then. Vivaldi was meant to be loud and in your face. Crank it up! Especially Vanessa Mae Storm!

How is it possible to dislike ???? It s shame. These persons don't understand and Feel the music. Even they don t like the classical music, everybody should know it is a masterpiece. So much feeling... i prefer the winter and summer. Kiss for all musician !

For the first time listener it's not simply about the four season it is a novel about season and what happens in them not only in them but also it inbetween them and the races,conflict, fight among them to portrait themselves and much more that happens inbetween the seasons and lastly enjoy it and make your own interpretation

I have been listening to classical music to lift my spirit, there is a moment when my brain is filled with this beautiful music and I reach a level of relaxation never achieved before. Then I can forget all the ugliness happening around me.

My teacher taught me about music a few classes ago and im hooked on classical music.

I'm Slovenian, living in Ireland now and sometimes I feel like we have four seasons during one day.

The thing I know is that the people who disliked didn't mean they don't enjoy this beautiful masterpiece, they were just mad at youtube for putting five ads in the middle and disturbing their joy.

This masterpiece is so calming.

I think 500,000 of these views are mine. I listen to this while studying and writing papers. The weird thing, this is my favorite version. That is right, I have a favorite recording of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. Not sure my junior high self would have ever believed that one. Enjoy my friends, enjoy this masterpiece!

I remember playing this. My favorite was Winter because of the emotion and scene that plays in your mind when you play

it sounds so beautiful and elegant and seems relax for me

I’ve listened to a LOT of Seasons performances here on KZread, and this one is outstanding. I would compare it to the Netherlands Bach Society’s, but I can only find their Summer and Winter. But NBS is the world’s greatest collection of virtuosos with impressive video work as well. Their musical director, Shenske Sato, is a genius and plays violin like no one on earth. I recommend finding their Summer and Winter performances. Sato has made me a virtually rabid fan 😊

This music gives me goosebumps. 💕

Ok, one of my bucket list items is to spend a winter's evening in the English, or better yet, in the Scottish countryside, in front a fireside, listening to this piece, with the love of my life (whom I have yet to meet!). 😊
