Totally new and totally delightful! New life breathed into something very over-performed and over-recorded. The dynamics and improvisations make you take notice and listen in a way that refreshes. The phrasing is all new in this performance. What an ensemble... Vivaldi and his ladies!

He escuchado muchas versiones, y rescato a traves del tiempo a I Musici, con Felix Ayo, luego la tormenta total que fue el Giardino Armonico con Enrico Onofri, mas adelante, Giuliano Carmignola, todos notables, pero esto... es impresionante!! Fantastico, tiempos, adornos, etc, una interpretacion espectacular!!

Maravillosa interpretación, combinación perfecta entre lo "clásico" y la frescura de nuevas concesiones muy bien llevadas a cabo y perfectamente integradas. La "flexibilidad" de las Cuatro Estaciones es realmente sorprendente.

There are so many recordings of this set. So many are good; I think this is among the very best. Fresh, tight playing, and great camera work to capture musician’s faces. Bravo Mr. Sinkovsky!

@@ignacioclerici5341 The word 'cover' is perhaps a little out-of-genre, but honestly, since it refers to 'a performance of music that you didn't write' (since it's been extended to talk about game music or arrangements and not just songs), it's probably not inaccurate to call this a 'cover'. I mean, almost all classical music is therefore 'covers', but still :P

Music will be the last to be replaced by AI if at all. In fact there will be many things to take place before that happens which will ironically prevent it. For example, atm AI is busy replacing other AI with 'AI'.

Очень интересная трактовка, во многом соглашусь с русскоязычными комментаторами( просто не знаю английского) : высочайший технический уровень всего ансамбля, а не только солиста, потрясающая ансамблевая слаженность, тончайшая нюансировка, все так, но, сожалению, меня это исполнение тронуло только местами. За тонкой детализацией ,часто применяемым приемом рубато ,характерным для эпохи романтизма, но не органичным для музыки барокко, исчезла целостность произведения и оно, как разбитое зеркало, рассыпалось на потрясающе красивые осколки.

Ah, thank you. I didn’t know it was called rubato technique, I had to look it up. This performance was so surprising, so un-trite; there were whole phrases in there, not just ornamentation I never heard before. I enjoyed it very much, found myself trying to imagine Antonio Vivaldi listening in. Would he be amused? intrigued? offended? delighted?

Así se hacía durante el período en que vivió Vivaldi. No había director de orquesta como se lo conoce hoy.

I suspect this might be a Rugeri. I can only imagine the things Dmitry would do with a Vieuxtemps Guarneri, though.

I assume you meant to write harpsichord instead of organ. If you're referring to the only plucked string instrument, it's a 13-course lute.
