Now, two years later, I am watching this video, and the sight of this performance, the beautiful playing, and the divine singing reminds me of how music helped people get through those difficult times.

This is absolutely masterful. No matter what happens in life, the fact that this exists will be a never ending comfort.

Wow you learn something every day! I was watching the movie Shine and this piece is heard twice . I had to find out what was so thankfully the music is listed at the end while the Aria movement is being played! I searched on KZread and up came this performance. The soprano’s voice is outstanding and I prefer hers to that from the movie’s musical score . While I love baroque and other classical music, there are many, many gaps in my knowledge. But I know beauty when I hear it. And this piece is one of them. I thought Vivaldi’s Nisi Dominus was his best but RV630 equals it in my humble opinion.

Marie Lysi, the Soprano, follows her lines with curiosity, excitedly and lovingly and thus, sings convincingly, honestly and brilliantly.

Topped of by smothering the musicians in surgeons masks displaying the ideocracy of the delusional pandemic . It's like modern art. You display the beauty and violate it in a rage of irrational resentment.

A masterpiece tune, arrangements of the instruments and top tier soprano. Can’t help but to do an A/B to Emma Kirby version.

This music piece featured prominently in one of my all time favourite movies Shine (1996) about David Helfgott. You have such a tremendously beautiful voice, like others, i can't help but listen over and over again. Thanks for sharing your performance.
