Can someone PLEASE ask Diana Damrau to record more Baroque....this is AWESOME!

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! My fisrt time watching Romina Basso being interviewed! She is soooo lovely!!!! I love her even more now!

It's amazing how exquisite and precise Damrau can be when working on a baroque composition. This intelligent approach is quite rare for dramatic coloraturas with rich experience in the classical and romantic repertoire.

Well, they got it all, right? Super-skilled singers like Damrau and DiDonato next to horrible singers like Genaux and Villazón. How many surgeries did Villazón have? 6? I lost track already. And Genaux is probably a fine artist, but her technique is one of the worst. The tension in jaw, tongue and lips is almost unbearable. What must DiDonato and Damrau be thinking? They're probably most greatful for their own great technique, singing with Villazón and Genaux.....

Diana Emilia don't you see that basso is doing the same or are you coloured by your rivalty by proxy... Genaux is very special and you don't have to lIke her, I do not like vilazon and damrau, but I just see them as intermezzos between all other fantastic singers, I do not bsh him on KZread...it is just different taste. They would not be here if they did not have talent but they cater different tastes.

Nonsense. What Genaux brings is the edginess that works well in castrati roles which is why she does Farinellis repertoire well. I like the variety of voices.
