Hi, I'm Jamie LaPoint with Center for Aesthetic and Laser Medicine and today we're going to talk about Vivace. Vivace is a radiofrequency microneedling device that we use to address a number of skin conditions. We can tighten, work on fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, scars from other issues, texture, pores, and it just makes your skin look a lot better. So, Vivace does a great job at tightening, lifting, firming. The results you're going to want if you're not ready for surgery, or you don't even need surgery, but you know you want to do something more than a facial. We can target fine lines around the eyes, fine lines to the forehead, wrinkles. It works really well for the jowls. We can work on the pores and the texture, acne scars, all over the body. It's done wonderful results for the neck, for the tightening and even some pigmentation. Vivace is recommended in a series of at least three treatments. Some might recommend more depending on the issue or condition you are having. You will space those out four to six weeks apart. You will see results after a week of one treatment, but the results will build on each other. With Vivace, you will see results six months after your last treatment because you will build collagen. Another great thing about Vivace is no significant downtime at all. You will feel pink for a few hours after your treatment, kind of like a mild sunburn. We do give you some products to take home to kind of ease that. By the next day, you can resume most normal activities. You can wear makeup after 24 hours and maybe some light flaking, but besides that no significant downtime at all. The treatment session for the face typically takes about 45 minutes. You do get an extra 30 minutes of numbing cream, or if you want to add multiple areas, we would probably add another 30 minutes per area. So plan for just your face to be here an hour and a half. By Vivace, results last for a few years, if not longer, just depending on your lifestyle, how you take care of your skin at home, and any maintenance treatments you do. It is recommended to do a Vivace one or two times a year for the best long-lasting results.
