Instead of saying whole bunch of bull s**t. I just wanna say: " Thank you. This video is amazing." 😄
This was a really excellent introduction. I have been working with VSCode for a while now and i definitely learned some tricks. Thanks for sharing it with us and for those who are new to VSCode or maybe just intermediate, I highly recommend watching this video!
I have watched so many vs code videos explaining the foundation for any coder to begin working. You by far win the title. So easy to follow, well explained and in a timeline that makes sense without mentioning something that leave people confused. Thanks very well done!
For people who use the terminal/command line a lot. You can open a project folder with the command `code .` right from any terminal.
Fantastic, period! I learned HTML by myself back in the 90's using the extinct Home Site software, which BTW I loved. I remember many of these codes. The way you explain brings back many memories!
Super clear video man love it. Being able to customize the layout /theme of the workspace before beginning to write/learn anything is a huge stress relief

Ok first of all thank you for this video! I am changing careers into web development and I have been thinking that there is no way I can type code fast enough to keep up with people half my age, but this video showed me otherwise. You have given me a newfound love for writing HTML, CSS, and JS, and I am eternally grateful!

Wow this is an awesome video for a total newb. Love that it's time indexed as well. Thank You!
Neat, concise, clear. Congratulations.
Tried several other tutorials on VS Code but yours got me off the ground! Thank you! Relearning programming 12 years after a TBI is daunting. I'm taking baby steps toward cognitive recovery using coding as therapy. Wish me luck! It's taken 12 years to summon up the courage to even attempt to relearn JS, let alone the many new complexities of what has obviously become much more than a programming language -- it's an infinitely extensible platform with hundreds of moving parts. I'm following your tutorials as my gospel! Thanks again. Please let me know of any other resources you can recommend to kick start me into the world of front and backend application development.

Very nice introduction to VS Code! One question: Will the built-in IntelliSense work on all files like css, scss and js or do you need to install an extension for each type? I find that vscode quickly becomes slow on startup if too many extensions are installed... Always a pleasure watching your videos :).
@codeSTACKr

Thanks! IntelliSense works on many languages out of the box. If you don't get suggestions, search for the language extension in the marketplace and it can be added on.
It's so clear and easy to follow, big respect, fun from Ethiopia 🇪🇹
It was so easy to understand and informative, I could easily understand! Thanks a Ton!

hello sir i was looking for a clear and precision video since last week and i found you thanks for this video you made with the deep explanations .i'm just beginner as developer (html, css, javascript )
Just wow!!! Thanks!!!
I know whole that stuff, but this is the most wanted video that I would watch couple of months earlier. IMO the first thing that newbie should do is to know the basics of the environment that will be working with. And this video do it properly. Another good thing is setup the terminal or just even change shell (i.e. fish, ohmyposh with auto-complete extention).
This video seems to be more about VS Code than about VS Code 2022. I've been using VS Code about a year to write HTML and JavaScript. I recently installed 2022 because it is maddeningly difficult to get VSC to run a C# Hello World program (kind of ironic, as VSC and C# are both Microsoft products). I see bracket colorization is built in now.
Thank you so much! So good!
Great video, really helped me while learning to code
thanks for the note about Word Wrap!
Nice!! Just recommended this to fellow developers
