The baskets are beautiful and very useful. I want to try making some. And that embroidery was simply stunning! I just re-organized my floss boxes like you have yours. I don’t have as many blended colors as you do, but I love how the colors are all together rather than sorting the bobbins by number. My floss boxes look so much more beautiful now. Thank you for the inspiration! I want to try many of the things you make.

since i was a kid, it's my ultimate dream to learn crochet but unfortunately i have no time to really learn it. so now i'm thinking of spending an hour a day just watching videos just to learn and make my own

That is a great goal to have! I did that for a while with video editing because I had no clue how to do it but really wanted to learn. It really happens watching how others do it and applying it to your own. 😊

I think like you do, so now I’m setting up stations next to my bed and set a timer of 30 minutes- if I at least did something, then I learned something. Also crochet is very easy and 30 minutes to start it is enough “doing” and a lil bit everyday is enough. It’s not a race and the first try is going to be funny looking :) let it be. Oh, those are very pretty. Have you ever tried, Wrapped rope baskets? They are lovely, maybe join some of the groups. You already have a sewing machine or even use fabric and yarn to make crochet baskets.

Very cute baskets. I'll have to try some macrame cord. I made some baskets with two strands of cotton yarn and one strand of jute twine and it was quite sturdy.

That soil block tool looks interesting, I never saw it. i usually use cocopeat tablets or small compostable planters. Sometimes I even use egg carton 😄. This is new way for me! The colour of the storae baskets are nice and spring like ❤

I loved the crochet bags you made! I was wondering if you have any tips for keeping the skin on the hands soft while working with soil? Mine gets so rough very quickly, and it´s very bothersome when knitting and such! I really appreciate your videos, so inspiring and calm.

Thank you very much for watching! I like to work with indoor soil with my bare hands so it does get rough. It can't be helped unless I wear gloves. I always have hand cream on my desk so I just apply them to my hands whenever I can.

Thank you for watching! I find that the fresher the seeds, the higher the germination rate...so I only keep seeds for about 2 years. Maybe you can grow some wheat grass or catnip for your cat? 😊

That potting medium - why do you like it so much? Do you use it just for seed planting? I looked it up and what I read doesn't seem like that is what it's sold for so was curious about your experience.

Thank you for watching! Yes the soil mix is not specifically made for seed starting. I used to use the Miracle Gro seed starting mix when I used the plastic cell trays until I switched to soil blocks. With soil blocks the soil needs to hold its shape but also provide good air circulation for the roots so not all soil mix will work for that. When I was searching for a soil mix that would work for soil blocks, I came across someone using this soil mix and had good results. So I bought a bag and tried it out myself. I've been very happy with it. Not only does it holds its shape, my seedlings have been doing a lot better now than before. Of course there are other soil mix that will work for soil blocks too. 😊

I've used pots for many years but changed to blocks and I like it more because my seedlings are healthier growing in it.😊 I will have an update on my seedlings in blocks in a future video so please check back! 😊
