Visual Diary | A Relaxing Crochet Day | New Craft Supplies & Jasmine Star Crochet Mini Baskets
Hello! Hope you're having a relaxing day so far! In this vlog, I spent the day making mini crochet baskets with the jasmine star stitch and sewing felt fabrics together to line it. I ordered some Japanese craft books and supplies online and they arrived in the mail so I unboxed them! Today's mini crochet basket project was inspired by one of the books! If you like crocheting, sewing, crafting, and DIY at home, I hope you will like this video!

I love your videos, they’re very aesthetically pleasing. I don’t usually like when a video doesn’t have anyone talking. But your video style is very artistic and soothing to watch. 😊

@@kikosabi I understand if you’re not comfortable speaking on camera, but it would be nice to occasionally just hear your voice and see your sweet face. Maybe at the beginning or end just saying hello. Nobody will mind that English isn’t your first language, It’s nice to see who’s behind the camera. Thank you for such beautiful videos!

Thank you for sharing! I love that you repurposed it into something you're more happy with and will wear! 😍I was actually looking in my closet the other day and found some plaid blazers I wore few years ago...maybe I wore them 1-2 times? I thought about cutting them up and using the fabric for patchwork but I wasn't sure. I'm glad I saw your comment! because now I'm going to repurpose them! 😊
Your videos are beautifully captured and so relaxing to watch. Thank you for posting!

@@kikosabi oh and I forgot to say that some have a hole at their base because for some bobbin lace techniques, it’s preferable to add weight to your bobbins and people add dangles (strung beads) which is quite beautiful too

Good Morning from Germany to Japan... Your video was very interesting, especially I loved the books you have chosen to buy, I like to see what other countries are creating and the style they have. Could you please give a reference to the book the pattern for the crochet flower basket was in? I would love to get it too to make my own lovely basket, yours looks amazing! Thank you for the wonderful video again and all the best!
I love your videos and appreciate the quietness of life you portray. I’m interested in the yarn you were using for the baskets. Can you link or tell me where you purchased it and what kind of yarn it is? Thank you.
Beautiful! I love to crochet, sew with a sewing machine. I love to do so many crafts. I wish I could sew by hand as you do. Maybe I will take that up to! Thank you for sharing!

First of all, oh my goodness those coral charm peonies...wow!! Your mock orange is beautiful as well. The deer keep eating mine so it never blooms. I was really drawn to the flower applique book as well, especially the purses they made were so pretty. The lining in your baskets turned out perfectly!

@@kikosabi I think my deer friends are a bit kooky because they also at my hollyhock blooms just as they came out 🤨 which they aren't supposed to like. I plant lots of cosmos though as they don't eat that thankfully lol.

Thank you very much for watching! 😊 I started by choosing an area in the room that is only for crafting and remove everything that is not crafting related in that area. Then I go over all my crafting supplies, donate things I don't use and organize the ones I want to keep in boxes, baskets, etc. Then I just simply place my organized supplies in the crafting area...on the table and shelves. The more time you spend in the area crafting, the more you know how you want it organized and look. 😊 I hope that helps! 😅
