The angry part for ETA processing, is no where to track status, no where to feedback, no one to ask... wil be tough for those who gt emergency.. hope they review their process.. in order to avoid ppl abuse their visa, shuld restrict the rule who abuse the visa illegally, nt delay those who try to apply just for family visiting and travel.

I have a 601 visa when i came to Australia. Then i extended for 3 months with 600 visa which is about to expire. So i am flying out and planning to come back. My 601 visa is still not expired. Can i still use it or it was not valid since when i had my 600?

Why do you need to come back and stay for such a long time?

I’m malaysia an immediate family to Australia citizen, planning to travel on the 3rd July 2020 to Adelaide, but my visa will expire on the 6th July 2020, will it be possible for me to fly out ?

if you can enter, upon arrival, your visitor visa will automatically allow you for a stay of 3 months

Well, you need to be patient as there has been a lot of visa refusal for Malaysian passport holders

On 601 visa, can I stay a total of 3 months within that 12 month period? Or if I exit after 3 months then I can come back and stay for another 3 months on the same visa?

Hi, I'm a Malaysian passport holder. I just realized I might be eligible for the ETA (subclass 601) after my subclass 600 was approved. How do I get a refund on subclass 600 and reapply ETA subclass 601? (The cost for subclass 600 is way too expensive and I'm afraid I'm paying extra for no reason) What reason should I write when requesting for the refund?

can i ask ...i have applied visa for myself under subclass 601 and my visa has been granted after 1 weeks. i have applied visa for my children as well. but i mistakenly enter under subclass 600. and my children still does not have any reply yet for any approval. it has been 3 weeks. we are planning to go to australia for travelling during school holiday. and i did not watch your video before applying..(i should have done that). what should i do now?..should i apply visa for my kids again under subclass 600?...can i get my refund for mistakenly apply under subclass 601?

If a US citizen is visiting their long term partner for a month or more, but definitely less than 3 months, can they work remotely for their US company for their regular full time capacity while on ETA or does one need a different visa?

While in Australia, you can only extend 600. cannot do ETA no more.

Thanks. Does the visitor visa ETA subclass 601 consist of a clause that says ‘no further stay’ ? I have a lot of mixed comments and answers around stating that a person holding visitor visa while in Australia are not eligible to apply for spouse visa(subclass 820) unless the clause ‘no further stay’ is not stated. I wasn’t really sure if visitor visa ETA subclass 601 would allow anyone to apply for spouse visa (subclass 820) while in Australia as they are meant to be visitor , short term stay only

My spouse is a US citizen, she is coming to Australia in 2 months, if she applys for ETA, can we then apply for 600 Visa (onshore) before the 3 months period of ETA? Meaning she can stay longer with me, or should we directly apply for 600 vistor visa (off shore)? Looking forward to your kind response.
