The value of your passport and the trust placed in their travellers is based on the behaviour of the overall populations performance, unfortunately.

I have heard on your radio..........a person on visitor visa vehemently and proudly saying that he is working on cash in a factory and your host is not pointing him out that working on visitor visa is illegal. Now if CBSA on suspicion investigates and points out and suggesting that apply for asylum........it looks like they may saying under some canadian rule. How can a CBSA employee himslef/herself compel somebody on visitor visa to appy ofr a refuge claim if protocol/ the process does not permit to do so. A CBSA worker on duty must be deciding this under CBSA rules.

Rishi you are presenting one side of the story. Did you verify with the govt? Journalist first investigates then double checks the sources . I traveled few months back to Canada on visitor visa and know many more who also did, no one got an offer for asylum. This is a lot of Baloney with some hidden agenda from Ircc lawyers in canada. Changa content pao. Now here's the thing, CBSA can refuse entry even if you have visa ( same in USA ), the only option left is if you apply asylum ( which is optional). Je nahi asylum lena te wapis aajo, they can't force you. Its just that these jokers want to get in Canada by hook or crook. Get CBSA official on channel to verify these complaints. This story is completely false. According to my knowledge& I have strong reason to believe that CBSA never asks travelers to petition for asylum; doing so is against the law. This is what happens in reality. When a CBSA officer confirms a traveler's inadmissibility in Canada 🇨🇦. Officer requests that travellers to voluntarily withdraw their entrance application. If travelers agree to this, but before the CBSA officer begins the removal procedure, the officer must ask the travelers if sending him back is safe for him! Most of these travellers start playing the victim game, claiming that their lives are in danger back home. That's when the asylum thing comes in. That is all.

This is a clear plan of cancellation of their visit visa’s. Visitors can stay 6 months in Canada. However, after refugee application, most of the visitors will get rejected and deported in a 1-2 months due to non eligibility of initial phase as there is no solid reason of life threat. Once deported in 1-2 months after rejection they can’t enter next time in Canada. So in result their visit visa of 10 years got cancelled.

My husband had landed on Pearson international Toronto on 30 June, he is business person in India, we have genuine documents and documents it all by our own, but on Toronto airport, when he landed, officer had told him to claim refugee case or go back otherwise they will cancel his visa or deport him, my husband was not agree with refugee claim and they return him back..after ten days we found that his valid visa has been cancelled... We had confirmed return ticket, confirm hotel booking, insurance, now it is very stressful for our that our tickets and hotel booking payments are not refundable, ..what should we do... please advise us

There is a two step process 1. Having a visa doesn’t mean you will be allowed entry. Visa is to fly internationally to any port of entry of a country whose visa a visitor has. 2. Second step is to allow entry which is given at the time of landing. First step is completed by the visa officer in India and the second step is by the CBSA officer at the port of entry. Having a visa doesn’t give you the right to enter a country.
