That is the best authentic German Christmas Market that I have seen in G.B. I live in Hamburg Germany and its fast the same. Great channel. Thanx mate

Come over and ŵe can go over together everything is dear here also but a Bratwurst for 8 pounds is dear they Costa 5 or 6 Euros here what is around 5 pounds.

This is the best so far. Loved the decorations. Got hungry watching. The little houses are adorable, the paint looked like frosting instead of paint. I hope you can buy one of those lamps for yourself.

I've lived in Birmingham All my life and I've always loved our Christmas market and been to Manchester Dublin belfast and leeds markets I still its one of the most authenticly German

Hi from delightfully gloomy Los Angeles 🙋‍♀️ (we're in for 5 days of rain. A nice change for us, esp in December). What a cute Christmas market! The whole place reminds me of the Danish village of Solvang Calif! The windmill especially reminds me of Solvang. Solvang has a winter festival the whole month of Dec, called Julefest. Solvang is a 2 hour drive, North of Los Angeles. I think you'd really love it there! Famous for it's bakeries, most visitors snack their way thru town (not joking). Look it up, when you have time.

Looks amazing, Birmingham has really gone to town with those wonderful decorations. Much better than the others you’ve been to, great commentary too! Anyone know where Christmas Markets go for the other 10 months of the year?

I spent two years in Berlin 73-75 . You won’t see markets as good as Germany or Austria. Great video again.👍👍

I used to live just outside of Birmingham and the Christmas Market is good. I live a little bit further away these days but will be leaving it this year. Great video …. Smithy

I've always enjoyed the Birmingham Christmas market compared to othets I've been to. Stalls are always beautifully decorated food has always been tasty.

Same old China-made over-priced tat that you saw at the so-called “Christmas” markets in York and Manchester. Plus the reheated “bratwurst” from Lidl, costing maybe 20p each, re-sold for perhaps £8 in an industrial bread roll, swimming in onions grease. Nothing “authentic” about any of it, but nice video and well presented. Just astonishes me that so many people seem to have money to burn in this sort of “Christmas Market” nonsense - as they say “a fool and her money are easily parted!.

That has to be the best Christmas market video I've seen you post. Did you try any of the food? I don't eat doughnuts, but they all looked so nice. I wouldn't say no to those lush-looking chocolates, though.

Nuremburg has a good Christmas and it is usually colder too with genuine wurste ( sorry umlaut missing) Still , it is a long way from Brum and don't go by Lancaster!!

It looked pretty nice to me, but my sister in law who lives in Birmingham wasn’t impressed. For me, the abundance of food on offer was the best feature.

Pffft. You should see the prices in NYC at the street fairs. Unreal and unaffordable.

You should of gone foe the 1/2 a meter bratwurst.

Most of this has, again, nothing to do with a Christmas market; in this country, they all seem to be a dead loss really.

Maybe very slightky cheaper than the other markets but still a rip off for what you get. Cant believe people are so gullible and have money to burn!!!

My thoughts exactly.

So what did you buy to eat? One shot of the food, and one declaration of "delicious!" Disappointing for "Everyday I'm eating". Downvote.

I'm from Birmingham & it does look good, but it's way overpriced. I went once around 2014 & never again. I think the novelty has worn off now & our City Council needs to do something else now to celebrate Christmas. There were talks a few years ago about doing a mid evil event along New Street & in Victoria Square, but it never happened.

I think your wrong, it’s easily the best Christmas market in the uk along with the fair rides and the Birmingham independent market, it brings in a vast amount of tourists ans visitors many who stay in the city for a night or two and spend lots of money which adds to the local economy… it’s also tons of fun and has a brilliant atmosphere daily…
